Appearance
Thexxamas is very recognizable as a car-sized arachnid type Hollow, somewhat resembling the Latrodectus genus. His mask is a shape very reminiscent of a spider's head, with eight holes around the circumference of it, however, these are not eye holes, but actually two sets of sensory organs; the larger four are essentially ears while the smaller four are nostrils. He had a set of large, dagger sized spider fangs as part of the mask, straddling a humanoid mouth with sets of sharp teeth.
Thexxamas has four pairs of powerful legs, each tipped with a spike. They are each as hard as steel rods, while being amazingly flexible, and are mainly used for locomotion. They allow him to scale buildings and impale his prey. He also has a pair of pedipalps that end in clawed humanoid hands. These arm like appendages are significantly softer than his legs, but allow him to perform tasks requiring dexterity.
Other than his stark white mask, Thexxamas's body is mostly black with a few squiggly red bands on his abdomen. His Hollow hole resides at the center of the abdomen, placed vertically from the top to bottom. He has spinnerets that can produce a web, which is limited to an aesthetic flare until his powers surface.
Personality
Thexxamas is, above all else, utterly devoted to his loving sister. Demanding and clingy though she may be, he succumbs to most, if not all of her requests. As their interests often coincide, this is not usually a problem. One such interest is in catching prey. Thexxamas has an insatiable lust for the spiritual power carried in the blood, and has honed his senses to frightening levels in pursuit of that delicacy.
Thexxamas derives an odd sense of pleasure from scaring people. This takes the form of anything from pranks to intimidation. He often finds himself sneaking up on victims and jumping out at them, as well as telling them all about the workings of their circulatory system. Odd for his age, Thexxamas's voice is somewhat low, and thanks to the odd structure of his vocal chords, has a noticeable raspy quality. Those who have heard it claim it to be quite unsettling. On another note, he does not roar like most Hollows, making a hissing screech sound instead.
Though he will feast on Hollowkin and Plus alike, he prefers to prey on Pluses and Shinigami whenever possible, as they actually have beating hearts. This makes them very easy targets, and he adores the sound even as it comes to a stop. Thexxamas will still prey on other Hollows and Arrancar, as even lacking a heart, they bleed like everything else.
Thexxamas likes to spend his time in cool places, which most often are coincidently the places with the most shade or darkest nooks. He tends to avoid warm places, as that usually means he is in direct light, which would be to his disadvantage.
History
Cool. Just the way he liked it. But the darkness was gone. He was brought into the light, but at least he was away from the warmth. While he cried for the light, his sister cried for the cold. Neither was happy as they were. They both wanted more.
As soon as he could crawl, Kumomaru gravitated towards darker and cooler places. His clingy sister would often follow, though he knew how much she liked bright and warm spots. Consequently, he would also lead her away from the shade and into the light. This difference in environmental preference and desire to be together often resulted in the two running around all over the place.
Kumomaru was always quick to succumb to his sisters' every whim. As they grew, he became more capable of this job than ever. His favorite activity by far was viciously biting the kids who would pick on Yua. He would often go as far as to lure them into places out of sight and push them down; if there was a convenient cliff nearby, more fun was had.
Then that bastard came. He ruined their happy little lives in ways not supposed to be witnessed by children. Kumomaru was forced to watch as his sister's purity was tarnished. He snapped. Grabbing a pair of scissors out of his school bag, Kumomaru dove for the man's heels and proceeded to crudely carve up his right tendon. Having freed his sister, he thought they might be able to get away now. He was very wrong.
Kumomaru awoke to Yua's crying. They were both accompanied by the lifeless husks they once inhabited. The man whose right foot was now useless limped off into the night. Kumomaru committed the feeling of that man to memory. His smell, his sounds, his everything. He couldn't remember the face though. His eyes had been stabbed. Even as his sister sobbed into his chest, Kumomaru's grin spread crookedly across his face. He wouldn't forget that man. Never.
No matter what, he couldn't let his sister cry any longer. Whatever would make her happy, he would do it. However many more kids he had to push down. However many more people he would have to bite. He would do it. Even as their hearts disintegrated with their bodies, and his sight became obscured, Kumomaru would remember. His sister's smell, his sister's voice, his sister's warmth. He would remember.
Combat
Strengths
I Can Hear Little Hearts Beating - Thexxamas possesses superb natural senses, specifically in the areas of smell, touch, and hearing. He is capable of distinguishing innumerable scents from up to miles away, hearing a pin drop amongst a jet taking off, and feeling the movement of things around him thanks to the air flowing through the bristles on his body. He can literally hear the beating of a heart very clearly, smell the exact kind of blood, and if close enough, feel its vitality.
Iron Cage - Thexxamas's legs are as hard as steel, able to be used as a defense against blades such as Zanpakutou, as well as prevent prey from easily escaping his grasp. His abdomen, being the only part of his body that he can't guard with his limbs, is covered in a thick carapace that is extremely difficult to penetrate, though not impossible with sufficient force; it is weaker than his dense legs, but still a strong shield.
Dancing Spider - Thexxamas is rather agile, easily capable of doing a one eighty turn in less than a second. This is helpful when defending as well as attacking; he can easily switch his body direction depending on the type of attack he's facing, as well as keep up with more slippery prey.
Weaknesses
I See Only Darkness Before Me - Thexxamas is completely blind, in exchange for having superhuman senses in other areas. Though the combination of high power smell, hearing, and touch allow him a form of sight, he cannot discern color or fine detail.
The Squishy Parts - While being the greatest bulk of his muscles, Thexxamas's thorax is also the most vulnerable part of his body. Not an inch of it is covered by any sort of tough hide, but he protects it with his legs and abdomen when possible.
Siscon - Thexxamas's greatest weakness by far is his love for his sister. He will do anything for her, even if it costs him his own life, coming to her aid when she is in danger, and helping her pin down meals for the both of them. Above all else, he will protect his little sister.
