Personality

Siegfried's personality is complex. Being as smart as he is, his IQ falls well in the range of making him eccentric and odd on the Belle Curve. He's a goofy and zany kid with a sick sense of humor sometimes. He can find comedy in just about anything someone says whether it be delusional thinking or bad choices of words.

Siegfried enjoys the company of adults and prides himself for having plenty of adult friends albeit his age may seem terrifyingly far off from those he associates himself with. He's quite capable of adult conversation and he has a distinct view on the cultural sciences of religion that he developed no thanks to schooling and his upbringing as a Quincy.

One can often find Siegfried off somewhere stuffing his nose in some book looking for the answer to the Universe and Everything. Little does he know that it's as simple as the number "42". He prides himself in knowledge and will gladly debate with someone on a subject if he disagrees in the slightest. This makes him a stubborn and often enjoyable person to converse with.

History

Siegfried was born to a Quincy Chapter located in Germany. One of the few who dared to stay so close to the conflict of the Quincy Order's past. Someone had to protect innocent there, right? And so this Quincy Chapter was dedicated to secrecy and protection of those who oppressed them; breeding some of the most courageous and prideful Quincy in the Order.

Siegfried was born to a mother of French decent and a father who was half German and half Chinese. The result of this splicing of genes gave the world Siegfried as his mother came to name him. He came out with an odd aqua tinted hair and the biggest and deepest ocean blue eyes. His mother often joked that looking into his eyes was like staring at the ocean; one could get lost in its beauty.

So Siegfried grew up in the Quincy Chapter in the town of Oberau with a stern father who I forgot to mention was the local head of their particular Chapter. Due to this, Siegfried grew up under strict standards and expectations to match his father in every way. He loathed being in the shadow of a master Quincy but there was no way he was giving up so he did his best and tried his hardest at everything growing up. Only to come across to others as half-hearted and half-assed.

Siegfried didn't care, he was wiz in school and in a matter of years he was entering college to study theology like any good Quincy boy. All of this was at the age of 13. His fathers high standards were definitely strict and Siegfried did not disappoint. He graduated at the age of 16 with a degree in Theology after rushing through degree program. On the side he was delving into the Sciences and took a liking to Biology and Chemistry. Though he did not let his parents know about this.

Siegfried had grown up to be an excellent marksman as a Quincy and he owed much of his talents to the efforts of his uncle Jens Hanno who was his mentor for most of his life. He taught Sieg the technique and the order of the Quincies as he matured to a young adult. He grew fond of his uncle and oft shared a good amount of his time with him. It got his mind away from the shadow that always fell over him and haunted his very existence.

After apparently becoming a genius in the eyes of many after graduating College at the age of only 16, he decided he was skilled enough and capable of living his own life. So Siegfried approached his parents with a plea to be stationed at another Chapter to experience new cultures and habitats of fellow Quincy. His father took a stubborn disliking to the idea as he wanted to facilitate his only sons maturation but ultimately the decision lied in the mothers lap who persuaded her husband to allow Sieg to move to Japan for a few years.

2 years it was, Siegfried was allowed to move to a Chapter in Japan of his choosing and so he chose the quaint City, Okumichi. He left behind all he knew in Germany, his uncle, his friends, his family, all that was familiar to him was all behind him now. Especially the weight of the shadow that lingered over him back in Germany. He settled in Okumichi with a goal set in mind, he was going to pursue a masters in the Physical Sciences and possibly go for a PhD while continuing his training in the Quincy arts and absorbing a different culture. Luckily he had studied Japanese in school, he was going to need the knowledge.

Little did he know he was traveling to a melting pot of spiritual activity unlike what he knew in little Oberau Germany.

Combat

Strengths

Feat of Demonic Speed: Sieg is blessed with naturally built arms for the pulling of a Quincy bow, and especially his in particular. He possesses a talent for being able to pull a shot off in what some would say microseconds. His Holy blessed SPS, or shots per second fall at around 2-3 per second given how well his day has gone.

Feat of Control and Marksmanship: Along with speed of the draw, Sieg has developed an eye with the precision of an eagle. He has perfected his aim to a near penultimate of Quincy talent. He's able to control the reishi he's gather to compress and send his shots off for long distances with a high accuracy rating. Back in Oberau they called him the "Teufel des Ziel" which is German for Devil of Aim. He was known for his control and accuracy of the highest standard.

Feat of Paranormal Luck: A spirit of favor seems to follow Siegfried around as he garners what many would call a clumsy luck. He does things which are by complete accident that work in his favor a lot of the time. Like tripping under a blow from a Hollow. Missing his intended target (which is rare) only to discover some hidden weak point. It's speechless luck like this that's kept Sieg alive for so long. The lucky bastard!

Weaknesses

Curse of Quincy Pride: As a Quincy, Sieg has the utmost respect for the Quincy Orders rules and has learned them well. He will stop at nothing to sacrifice his life for others, meaning he'll accept death in any case where he deems it helpful. Even life threatening injuries will he take on if it were for the sake of a life. His Quincy Pride is in fact a weakness, one that endangers his life anyways.

Curse of Youthful Mortality: Being a youngin', Siegfried finds himself in tough positions fighting against massive Hollows and just simply larger opponents more fit and 3 times more powerful than him. He's capable of taking a few blows and lasting some bit of time athletically. But his stamina is still that of a fifteen year old's and so a weak 'wittle' duckling he is in a pool of spiritually powerful beings. Totally incapable of dishing out but the most minimal of physical damage with his fists.

Curse of Clumsiness: Falling under the same category of luck. One cant always be lucky, the opposite side of the coin must sometimes appear when in real life situations. And so it does with Siegfried as he often finds his clumsiness leading him into trouble and getting him a good amount of bruises. Usually nothing he can't brush off. But someday he may stumble into the wrong guy. Ouch, I don't want to be there for that one!
