Location and Compound
The second division headquarters lies deep within a patch of woodland to the northwest of Seireitei's administrative 'inner circle'. It is tightly guarded, and intruders have been known to go missing after setting foot in those woods. At the furthest end of the woods, where a high wall keeps it hidden, is the entrance to the underground Maggot's Nest, where all of the gotei 13's dangerous trainees are kept.
Duties
From intelligence and sabotage to assassinations, these shinigami are trained for secretive work. They dress much like a ninja and are trained as such, tending to operate like one as a whole, making them a large well trained family of near invisible shadow shinigami. Their specialization is stealth and accuracy.
Onmitsukido
The Onmitsukido are the Second Division's arm of force; this subdivision contains the Keigun (Punishment Corps), which assassinate targets, and the Kanritai (Detention Unit), responsible for capture and helping to maintain the capture of targets.
