Appearance
Sachiko was once a young girl cursed with the appearance of an underdeveloped child no older than eleven years of age. She has since accelerated her growth via her fullbring, Soul Stitch, and now takes on the appearance of a woman in her mid-to-late twenties. She stands at a height of 170cm (5’7”) and weighs in at 142lb. Long flowing green hair extends down to the small of her back while slightly parted bangs decorate her forehead. Her right eye is as green as her hair while her left is the spitting image of a hollow’s. Her muscles, enhanced by her fullbring, give her the appearance one might expect from a professional boxer while still keeping body on the slender side.
Sachiko’s left arm is missing, torn off at the shoulder and paid as a price for Peligroso to craft a weapon in sync with her reiatsu so that she may combat shinigami more effectively. Her right arm is also absent, severed at the elbow during battle against the shinigami Captain Commander, Amarini Ikenmaru. Decorating her bare chest are three unaligned scars from when she was stabbed during her fight with Kikkai on earth. A large slash scars her back, a mark received from her encounter with Ayako Kyuugou while in Rukongai during a curiosity visit.
While Sachiko is officially a member of the Números, she posses no markings to signify her rank as her tattoo was located on her right palm, which has since been severed from her body along with most of her right arm. Her original clothing, an elegant dress made of the same material as an arrancar’s garb, has torn into rags. Her accelerated growth has caused the dress to tear at the seams, revealing far more skin than it was intended to, but still keeping her more sensitive areas shielded from sight. Her dress now only falls to the knees, showing off much of her legs, including her feet which have outgrown her boots which are now nothing more than scraps of leather.
Sachiko carries with her a large single bladed axe. The blade is thick and heavy, crafted of a strange metal forged in Peligroso’s lab. The shaft is made of light, yet sturdy, wood. The axe measures 5ft from end to end.
Sachiko's Personality
Sachiko has the personality one would expect from a young girl raised by respectable parents. She is kind hearted and polite though she tends to be shy around people she does not know and at times she can become quite childish. When she is around those she is familiar or comfortable with Sachiko is upbeat, talkative, and playful.
Constant bullying from her middle school days has caused Sachiko to become skittish and timid when in uncomfortable settings as well as to suffer self-esteem issues about her body as it is the direct cause of her abuse and something she feels is somehow her fault. Despite being a teenager Sachiko would rather spend her time doing housework such as cleaning, cooking, and other similar tasks rather than be out loitering around at malls or hanging out with friends.
Sachiko's History
Sachiko was the first and only child of her parents, both of which were well known and widely respected members of their community. Her mother was a stay at home mom that took care of all the household tasks as well as spending a majority of her time with Sachiko. Her father was a hard working man that spent many hours away from home so that the three of them could afford to live. Sachiko’s father earned just enough money to buy the essentials in life and both parents seemed to enjoy it that way. Her parents believed in building a stronger community and spent much of their time doing volunteer work as well as giving extra money they may have earned to charities, this kind of moral upbringing rubbed off on the young girl as she grew up.
One thing became clear as Sachiko grew older and that was that she was developing physically slower than that of other children her age. This slower growth rate yielded little issue until Sachiko entered into middle school where she was constantly picked on due to appearing younger and less physically developed than she should at her age. Not wanting to enter into conflict Sachiko merely took the abuse. The young girl refused to tell anyone of the constant bullying as she felt that somehow her slow growth rate her fault. This mixture of constant bullying and feeling that the fault lies on her has left Sachiko with self-esteem issues causing her to be rather skittish and timid. Unfortunately the bullying did not stop when Sachiko moved on from middle school to high school and she is still the victim of these abusers whenever they see her.
One day at high school Sachiko was preparing to leave and walk home when three familiar girls approached her. These three girls were the source of her torment since middle school. They were relentless and constantly picked on Sachiko about her slow physical development and today was no exception. The abuse received from these three girls never got physical and that was partly due to Sachiko not resisting but mental abuse could be far worse than anything physical. It was during this bullying session that a boy Sachiko had a crush on rushed in to break up the incident. With some persuasion the boy got the three girls to leave Sachiko alone, for the day at least. She knew that the three girls would return to bullying her eventually but the fact that the boy she liked had defended her had lifted her spirit. The boy had offered to walk Sachiko home but being a little on the timid side Sachiko politely turned down the offer.
On her way home Sachiko noticed smoke in the air but paid little attention to it until she realized the smoke was originating from the block her house was located on. Rushing home Sachiko heard sirens as she drew closer. It was at the same moment that her house came into view that her life had been shattered. The house was barely recognizable as smoke poured out of it and fire crews were busy putting out what remained of a fire that had broken out. Something caught the young girl’s eye as she slowly approached her charred home and that was two body bags being placed in an ambulance. Sachiko instinctively knew the identity of the dead people. The young girl clenched her necklace, a gift that her parents had given her just that morning before she left for school. Rescue personnel took notice of Sachiko and questioned the girl. After realizing that she was the daughter of the two deceased individuals they took her to figure out who her closest of kin was. After a day of searching they found that the only current relative within Okumichi City that was capable of caring for the girl was her uncle, Haribou Gafuruu. She was being dropped off at her uncle’s when her mind merged with the Fullbringer that manifested within her. The life of the real Sachiko ended that day.
True Personality
The Fullbringer now known as Sachiko was once a peaceful individual but time has a way of changing things especially when you’re forced to deal with mankind, a creature not so forgiving of that which it does not understand. Over the span of thousands of years her nature began to change, where once she was gentle now she was spiteful. Such a long lifespan changed her perception of the world and mankind became little more than a convenience to her. They are just pawns to use whenever she requires entertainment and something to maintain her existence in the world when her body passes on. As well as being spiteful towards humans for their intolerable nature she also possesses an utmost hatred towards Shinigami. This hatred stems from a single chapter in her life.
Time has played a key part in shaping her personality but so too has her ability to essentially live forever. She has become both reckless and domineering, feeling superior to those around her in one way or another even if they are stronger than her and she rarely thinks of the consequences her actions might have unless her first Fullbring has yet to emerge. She is self-centered and manipulative, always having her own personal agenda and using others to achieve them with little regard for those she uses.
With her manipulative personality and the knowledge she gains whenever she manifests within the mind of another she is more than capable of playing the part of the human she possesses. One of the reasons she can play the role so well is that by merging with others she inherits their personality traits which reflects on her own personality. This helps her remain hidden until her power has had time to grow but being around particularly irritable people or near Shinigami puts a strain on her patience and can cause her to break character.
True History
Five thousand years ago a human was born, one that would develop a power others could only dream of. Her life was normal until death, it was then that things became strange. When she died no spirit was produced, instead her mind merged with that of another human being. This was a frightening and chaotic experience. She was the same person she was before death but now she was also someone else. Confused, telling people did nothing to help the situation and only made things worse. Her new body was in a different part of the world from her old. She was forced to live a completely different life style that she was surprisingly comfortable and familiar with all because the mind she had merged with had experienced everything she was thrown into.
It took time to sort through the memories and separate the old from the new but eventually she moved on living her new life and while still confusing things were manageable, until it happened again. Like a nightmare each death came with a new life but the memories of old did not disappear which only created confusion, fear, and paranoia. It was as if everything was a lie, she couldn’t tell what was real or not but she adapted, absorbing all the knowledge held within these new bodies ensured she had everything she needed to survive each new life.
Years passed, too many to count, her life was anything but normal. Soldiers, peasants, kings, slaves, and much more, she experienced it all. Each life she lived brought her new experiences both good and bad. Her deaths were many, a good few were by natural cause but for the most part she met her end by being attacked by hollow or at the hands of others. Hollow were monsters, she can’t even remember how many times she has been killed by them but they are nothing more than spiritual predators, it’s the humans she can’t forgive. They’re cruel and while others only had to deal with the harshness of life for one lifetime she had to do it for countless more. Living so long was beginning to take its toll yet it was only the beginning of her existence.
The years continued to pass and she lived each life the best she could, she had learned the hard way that telling people of her power did not yield good results. Finally, enough was enough, she snapped. During a lifetime like no other, when her powers reached their plateau for the first, and as of today, only time, she took out her frustrations. The “immortal” human went on a path of destruction fueled by countless years of pain and anger. It was here, when her path of destruction came to an abrupt end, that she began to hate Shinigami. Normally Shinigami do not interfere with events in the mortal realm however she was doing something they could not ignore. Slaughtering humans was one thing but she was also destroying their souls disrupting the balance and forcing the Shinigami to step in which ultimately led to the end of her life as she knew it.
She was powerless to stop them, her powers were only overwhelming against humans and the Shinigami swiftly put an end to her. They knew not of her ability to manifest inside another upon her death and the blow which caused her to die grazed her Hakusuitosaketsu. (Soul Sleep and Chain Link) She didn’t care about her death, it was but a minor setback and eventually she would regain her powers, or so she thought. By grazing her Hakusuitosaketsu the Shinigami that killed her inadvertently stopped her powers from progressing past the stage where she could manifest within others upon death. This has caused her to gain a deep seated hatred for Shinigami and the years went by where she was forced to live her life like everyone else. She had tasted power and lost it all, seemingly forever.
Losing tack of time was easy when you had so much of it and she is incapable of remembering how many lives she has lived since she lost her ability to progress but that all came to an end when she manifested in the mind of a young girl named Sachiko Haribou. At first it was like any other body but her powers were returning to her and soon she moved past her first stage, her Hakusuitosaketsu having healed gradually over the years.
Her powers returning was enough for her to consider living as Sachiko and eventful success but to top it all off she was kidnapped by creatures known as arrancar, evolved forms of Hollow. She was taken to Heuco Mundo where she learned a little about arrancar and ever curious she wanted to learn more. She spent three months as a prisoner until Heuco Mundo’s ruler, Ortiga, offered her a position in his army, a positions he gladly accepted.
Shortly after entering into the Números Sachiko took a trip back to Okumichi City. During a curious investigation of a rather large group of spiritual humans Sachiko’s inner hollow contacted her. This inner hollow known as Vacía had been with Sachiko since the very first time she died though due to the nature of herpowers, unable to take control. Tired of being locked away, unable to escape, Vacía was quick to offer Sachiko her power for the opportunity to share both body and mind with the girl. Sachiko willingly agreed to such a proposal under the realization that she was little more than an insect compared to hollow, arrancar, and shinigami. Since then Sachiko has become a blend of a human and hollow. Her spiritual energy became overwhelmed with the taint of a hollow and her mind took on some of the aggressive tendencies of her inner hollow but in return she gained power, power she desperately craved.
Several months passed since the two became one and as Sachiko grew stronger the hollow’s taint increased. Physically and spiritually she was becoming more like a hollow and it was beginning to show as her left eye began to change. The white of her eye gradually became engulfed by tendrils of black until eventually it was taken over entirely while her iris changed from green to yellow. Sachiko was unusually calm about the change and instead of becoming alarmed she simply covered the eye with bandages, finding it nothing more than unsightly.
Combat
Strengths
Combat Experience: Having lived for such a long period of time and going through the process of merging with minds repeatedly it would be inevitable that Sachiko would gain a vast knowledge of combat. While it does not compare to the otherworldly techniques spiritual beings learn she is more than capable of fighting even the best of the human race when it comes to weapons or hand-to-hand combat however she is limited by the tools available to her as well as the limitations given to her by the human body she possesses.
Memories of Times Long Past: Such a long life has provided Sachiko with invaluable knowledge and life experiences which serves her greatly both in and out of battle.
Pain Tolerance: Sachiko has experienced things throughout her lengthy existence that many would consider hellish. These experiences range from the pains of combat, being burned alive through accusations of being a witch, and even torture. Sachiko has experienced it all and this has left her somewhat desensitized to the sensation of pain. This does not make her immune to the feeling but it does allows her to tolerate it far better than most people.
Weaknesses
I Know Best, I Am the Best: One of Sachiko’s greatest flaws is her personality. She’ll willingly put herself in danger to prove a point or to mock an opponent even when it can be life threatening. She is above and beyond arrogant seeing others as inferior even when they’re stronger and she enjoys toying with people both physically and emotionally even at the expense of getting things done. Her feeling of superiority and self-centeredness makes her easily baited by others.
Memories of Time Long Past: Living for such a long period of time has granted Sachiko a vast amount of knowledge and experience however her mind is still that of a normal human being. Countless memories have disappeared over the years and only information deemed important or used in everyday life is readily available for use from the girl’s vast repertoire of knowledge.
