Appearance
This storm blue creature looks much like the dragons from legends, long and graceful with smooth dark blue scales dusted with silver and purple with wide dark purple fading to blue wings, its tail blends seamlessly with its thin body as it stretches into its long agile neck. The head itself like the rest of the body is long and streamlined yet is built onto a rather heavy set jaw with over built jaw muscles for its size, the teeth inside where small and sharp yet curiously short, a pair of smooth back sweeping horns complete the profile. Despite being so long the hollow is only about the size of a large dog with most of its mass taken up by its wings.
Personality
Rather carefree and joyous this little dragon like nothing more to fly about and see new things, exploring new places and talking to interesting people, even if the only word it had mastered in human tongue was Gnap!, or sleep, sleeping was also fun and to be enjoyed when ever possible.
Despite its rather placid personality this dragon is still a hollow and obeys its instincts to hunt, flying around looking down before dropping onto the target with a crushing bite to the skull, and this sometimes even works, but with its short teeth it rarely gets deeper than the skin and the sensation of hanging free on a warm creature often leaves Ryūjin helplessly sleepy, more than once has an over sided hollow walked the desert with a small sleeping dragon clamped to its head where it could not be reached.
History
Having been come into semi awareness from chewing down a particularly powerful mask fragment Ryūjin changed from sand dwelling lizard to a great sky hunter, loving the feel of wind under its new wings. While the fragment had been full of memories Ryūjin simply dismissed them, they where from another creature and from a different life, they did not belong to itself.
Time passes for the sky hunter, long enough for it to know once it had been something else, some one else, memory fragments of other times and places, half remembered dreams of a place with more than white sand, from these fragments the little hunter gave itself a name Ryūjin kagirinai. Time marched on and the little dragon became more and more dissatisfied with its existence, hunting creatures, running from others, sleeping in hard to find places and staring at the moon where all fun enough but there should be more, somewhere there where other skies, other places to see and hunt, the memories that littered his mind where full of other more interesting things to do.
once it had seen a creature that walked on two legs and spoke words it could understand, the creature had pointed Ryūjin out to another as an example, a creature that would become nothing, that had no goal, no purpose, no reason to be, just a wast of time and space.
Spying on other ground walkers had told Ryūjin a simple fact, those who had goals gained power, the higher the goal the more power they gained, to Ryūjin it was so simple, no goal was higher than the moon and so if Ryūjin could reach it no one could say it was worthless again, this is the purpose that drove Ryūjin to abandon his carefree ways to seek power... right after his nap.
Combat
Strengths
Flight: Ryūjin can fly and glide well, his large wings and small body size let it drift through the sky almost forever, although he has crashed more than once while sleeping in flight
Lockjaw/claw: once Ryūjin has a grip it is insanely hard to make it let go, not always to the little dragons advantage but makes grapple fighting easier.
Armoured: Despite Ryūjin's small size its armour is fairly hard and thick, making it able to absorb far greater damage than most other creatures it size.
Weaknesses
Narcoleptic: Ryūjin has a great many triggers that can summon the sandman, his greatest enemy, anything from an extended peaceful flight to being warm with its jaws fully clamped on prey.
Short Teeth: While Ryūjin jaws are powerful and hand hold more than the dragons body weight easily its teeth are fairly short making its bites painful and hard to dislodge but hardly fatal, biting something to death would take considerable time and effort.
