Quebradura is Avienne's dormir.

This Dormir does not affect Avienne's appearance in any way, except that a number of black birds, akin to crows, can detach themselves from Avienne's body.

Dormir Ability

This Dormir was created from the need to utilize her unique abilities, without releasing her sword. Avienne, having experimented on her own body, now has the ability to create, from her reiatsu, a crow like bird, or more than one, depending on what she wants to achieve. These birds carry her reiatsu, and can be used to heal a target, including herself, by approaching and dissolving into the injury. The size of the wound depends on the number of birds necessary. A surface wound will only require one. A deep gash may require two or three. A cut that can incapacitate may require as many as twenty, though she's better off releasing, at this point. Life threatening injuries cannot be healed by Quebradura. She must release her zanpakutō, if she is to save such a life.

Since they originate from Avienne, she has manipulated them to be able to see whatever is in their line of sight. Thus, they are also useful for surveillance. One thing to note, though. A bird cannot travel more than two kilometers away from Avienne before it dissolves into nothing. Thus, her spying is somewhat limited.

Avienne cannot keep them for more than five minutes, before they disintegrate and are lost, or return to her form. If Avienne releases too many crows, something strange occurs. She will dissolve entirely into these black birds, only to materialize at another point. This is not really a teleportation technique, as her dissolution into birds is somewhat slow, and she can only materialize where any of her birds is. Thus, if she wants to get from A to B, at least one bird must fly to B, then all the birds materialize out of nowhere and gather together, forming the Tercera Espada in a dark mist. Not a teleporting technique per se, but a nifty transportation device nonetheless. If she is attacked before she completely transforms, she will revert back to her normal form, and will sustain whatever injury meted out to her. This move requires a good deal of concentration, so she cannot use this technique in battle. She can only travel in a radius of two kilometers in this fashion, as the birds cannot exist beyond two kilometers of her body. Her dissolution and appearing takes a post to complete (she can move from one place to another in one post, but can do little, if nothing else).
