Oni Chi (Demon Blood) is Takano Hiro's Zanpakutō.
The sword looks like a normal sized katana with a good few battle marks upon it’s surface. The guard looks like a whirlpool shape with three point along it that stretch out. (Kinda envision a guard that looks like Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan) The hilt is wrapped in elegant black material, Japanese symbols run up and down either side. The symbols represent pain, turmoil, and fear on one side. The other side has symbols for order, power, and courage.

Spirit Description
Oni Chi appears as a bull with long horns and looking to be at the top of the animals potential. On top of this though Oni Chi meshes by having the tail of a scorpion looming over the bull’s back. This represents the pure strength of a bull with the precision strike of a scorpions sting, both being extremely deadly to whomever opposes him.
Shikai
Release Command: Goshujin Shikon Oni Chi (Bare Your Fang Demon Blood) The sword thickens and lengthens to become a Dotanuki, the swords hilt unravels its material which raps around the fore-arm of the user. Not as bulky as a zanbatou with the elegance of a katana the blade is a deep blood red.
Shikai Abilities
Ame Umou Oni Chi (Rain Down Demon Blood)
When spoken the user swiftly swipes forward with Oni Chi and as the sword passes through the air a condensed ball of blades fires at the apex of the swing. 100 blades ranging 4-6 inches appear and shoot straight forward blanketing an area directly in front of the user. The blade are bunched together and separate like a blast from a shotgun aimed only by the swipe of the sword. Ame Umou relies mostly on the skill of the user with a blade as the speed of the projectiles is equal to 150% of the weapon level the user has. This attack works for only one swipe at a time.
Nemuri Oni Chi (Sleep Demon Blood)
This ability is a passive trait of the blood red sword. The blade of Oni Chi has the ability to numb what it cuts into. When the user strikes someone and cuts them the area around the wound becomes numb. The area around the cut tingles and then spreads slowly into the adjoining area losing feeling in these body parts. The effect is similar to parts of the body falling asleep from lack of blood flow. Limbs and body parts affected are still usable however making them move correctly would prove to be extremely difficult depending on the precision of movement attempted. These numbing effects spread fairly quickly like a venom from a snake bite hence the release phrase of the sword “Bare Your Fangs.” This ability dissipates following the zanpakutō's return to its unreleased state.
Strengths
The Nemuri ability spreads over the body with time and so a simple cut can eventually effect a large section of the person's body. It has an amazing effect on those who really on the physical attributes they possess since it takes away the reliability of the limbs doing exactly what they want them to do.
Ame Umou has a good ability to cover area as it scatters like a shotgun blast. This allows for less escape from close up attack. Dodging to the side is much less effective when it will spread in that direction. The Nemuri ability works with the shards which allows for a very potent combination.
Weaknesses
Nemuri does not stop the use of body parts merely makes it extremely difficult to use them properly. This makes it possible for effected person to still strike back however at a disadvantage. Also seeing this is a pathogen spread from the blade creatures immune to blood born effects will be immune to this ability. On top of this the swords ability is capable of effecting the user as well.
Ame Umou spreads out and so with that at longer range has many gaps in the shards with which opponents can dodge. Compounding with its long range deficiency the ability relies heavily on the sword skill of the user for effectiveness. As the ability is born from a sword swing as well the scattering pattern of the shards is fan-like. This allows for escape through getting around the fan shaped wall of shards. This ability also works only once each time the name is called out and so repetitive swings does not create a limitless amount of shards in one round.
