Appearance

Nyoroyo is a squishy black puddle of goop, roughly the size of a house cat. His ‘flesh’ is moist and rubbery to the touch and clings loosely to whatever it comes into contact with. This allows him to scale walls, ceilings, and other tricky surfaces without actually being stuck to them. Two dainty white feathered wings protrude from his back and through some miracle are capable of letting the little hollow fly. When airborne, Nyoroyo’s body condenses into a cute little ball to prevent gravity from causing him to drip all over the place. Nyoroyo possesses five tentacles that can shoot out from any location on his body, with the exception of his mask. These each stretch five feet in length, are two inches in diameter, and are capable of complex movements. When not in use, these tendrils are retracted inside his body, hidden from view. Covering Nyoroyo’s face is a pristine white mask that lacks a lower jaw. Two large circular eye sockets that house glowing yellow orbs give him a perpetually surprised expression. Dark green markings decorate his mask. A horizontal sickle under each eye with the ‘blade’ pointing towards the cheek bone, while a thick line makes up an ‘eyebrow’ above each eye. The inner points of these ‘eye brows’ connect into a multi-layered diamond pattern at the center of his forehead. Small carnivorous teeth line the bottom of the mask just above Nyoroyo’s circular mouth that is only capable of swallowing his prey whole. Nyoroyo has no visible hollow hole.

Personality

Nyoroyo is playful, curious, and semi-intelligent. He is capable of understanding the words people speak, but due to his form, unable to respond with words of his own, only gurgles, gargles, and other strange noises. He can be easily distracted by cute or odd things and has a habit of innocently playing with animals before eventually succumbing to hunger and stuffing them down his throat. He is too small to feed on humans, shinigami, or other hollow and must sustain himself on any living or spiritual critter small enough to swallow whole. He has the tendency to stalk pet owners, waiting for just the right time to eat poor fluffy. Sometimes, when the hunger is too much to bear, Nyoroyo will simply visit a zoo, pet store, park, or just take advantage of someone walking their dog. He doesn’t seem to be able to keep his hands to himself whenever he becomes curious, or a playful mood hits him, and is constantly touching people and objects with his tentacles.

History

Nyoroyo’s journey began the day his mortal shell passed on. Stranded in the wilderness, lost and hungry, he circled a lake unwilling to leave his only dependable source of water. This is what led to his death when he stepped into deceptively shallow mud and sank up to his waist. Weakened by hunger, he was unable to escape and faced a slow death by starvation. When he awoke he was stranded near his body, attached by a chain, and like those painful days before he finally died, stuck in the mud. Years passed before finally his chain began to corrode, the process panicked the man which only hastened the process of hollowification. His soul became corrupt and monstrous, albeit diminutive in size. Freed from his muddy prison, he began to roam as a mindless puddle of muck, swallowing any living or spiritual creature small enough to cram down his throat in order to temporarily satisfy his hunger.

His spiritual strength slowly began to increase as time went on, but it was still insignificant compared to his larger hollow brethren which allowed him to go largely unnoticed by shinigami, quincy, and cannibalistic hollow. On the rare occasions he would be forced into an altercation, his small size allowed him an ease of escape. As more time passed his intelligence began to return to him, but due to his poor choice in food it was nowhere near what it was prior to his death. While not as intelligent as a human, he was smart enough to add a more subtle approach to his hunting habits instead of mindlessly consuming whatever he could get his little hands as he had done before his mental evolution.

His spiritual energy continued to grow at a snail’s pace, but due to how little sustenance his food contained and his constant avoidance of Heuco Mundo to prevent becoming food himself, Nyoroyo was forced to constantly migrate as to not completely deplete a single area of resources. He would constantly fly his was from city to city, state to state, even country to country. This is when he stumbled upon Okumichi City after several years of migration. The place was flooded with spiritual energy and even the animals were more satisfying than anywhere else he had previously hunted. Perhaps he would stay here longer than normal.

Combat

Strengths

Small: Nyoroyo’s small size makes him harder to hit than a normal or large sized foe.

Gloopy: Lacking a skeletal frame and internal organs, Nyoroyo’s body absorbs damage better than others. Not having to worry about broken bones or a punctured lung has its perks.

Fly like an Eagle: Nyoroyo’s wings allow him flight.

Tentacles: Nyoroyo has five, five foot long tentacles, each capable of independent and complex movements. This allows him a lot of versatility in close range combat.

Weak, Weak, Weak: Nyoroyo’s spiritual energy is pitiful as a result of his limited food options, this makes him harder to detect with spiritual detection compared to other hollow, even more so when other hollow are present.

Weaknesses

Mask: Nyoroyo’s mask is a major weak point and he has little means of protecting it.

Wings: If Nyoroyo’s wings were to be damaged, he would be unable to fly and his mobility would be crippled.

Body Fail: Nyoroyo’s sludgy body prevents him from utilizing Garras and Ruido properly. His strength is only equal to half his current tier in Garras and he only obtains the speed benefit from Ruido, not air walk or the ability to leap long distances.
