Appearance

Roughly human in shape, Negate's body is made up of the normal human parts; Two arms, two legs, and a head. There are some additions, though; For one, it sports a long, black, thin tail, unlike any normal human on the planet. It extends to somewhere around twice Negate's body size. Seeing as Negate is roughly 5 feet and 7 inches in height, this places the tail somewhere around eleven feet in length. Its tip is a dagger tail, sort of; like an isosceles triangle in shape, the tail tip points to an indisputable sharp corner on all three sides, making the tip seem far more dangerous than it is; Rest assured, the dagger tip is not made of any sharp material, but feels slightly leathery to the touch. It also is capable of bending slightly, but only a little.

Negate is also capable of moving on all fours and two legs, unlike a normal human being; Its bones, joints and muscles are so flexible that Negate can literally take its right leg, and throw it around its neck like a sweater. Thus, thus hollow is capable of movement by traveling on two legs, four, or even just by its tail on some occasions. However, Negate is not all blabber and no definition; Its bones and muscles do still have normal-ish density and are capable of being broken.

Negate's skin is a grey-ish color, but this is hidden beneath a layer of black fur that covers its entire body, for the most part. Thin, yet thick, the fur doesn't fluff up or flow, but it sticks to the actual skin of the hollow, slicked down much like that of a panther or leopard. It could be noted that Negate's hand and feet, which are not covered by fur, are actually white; However, this is just due to built-up sand which has accumulated over its hands and feet during its time in Las Dias. The fur doesn't hide all of the hollow's definition, though; Its plainly obvious from a simple outline point of view how physically thin and fit it is, compared to most hollows. However, it does hide certain important details, such as its gender. Most hollows are normally quite obvious about their genders, however the layer of fur, which slightly hides already subtle body curves and even flattens out the chest of the hollow, makes it hard, if not impossible, to discern it at all.

The hollow's mask bears a resemblance to the Ibex; Two long, large horns sprout from the top of it, extending upward, outward, and back behind the head of the hollow. They are most likely the biggest, longest part of the hollow, minus its tail. The rest of its mask is fairly human-shaped, with another pair of smaller horns protruding downward from the cheekbones of the mask, extending roughly to the base of its neck. The hollow's eyes are an interesting shade of grey; Under the correct lighting, they appear green, and other times a near-orange hue. It should be noted that Negate's mask has no actual jaw portion, thus making Negate one of the only known hollow who still retains a chin after hollowification. Even with that, though, its still very hard to discern its gender. There are signs, however; Such as its rather feminine voice...

Personality

In a word, Negate is, in most people's minds, insane. What triggered this new personality change, no one knows. The hollow lives for 'fun', hungers for excitement, and craves for chaos; Often engaging in destructive activities without reason when unattended. Negate's thought process, as well as mental stability, varies depending on the situation; When in battle, hurt, or amongst the midst of chaos, the hollow finds it easier to think, and even exist, whereas in the calm, it displays something of a 'depressed' persona, the lack of stimulation slowing the mindset of the hollow and causing it to, in most cases, lay around in boredom.

There is a devious edge to Negate as well, however, which plays further into its lust for battle, and otherwise. The hollow's true motives are never really discernible, but there are times when it will stalk human prey or otherwise with intentions differed from eating. Why, no one knows. There are times when the creature simply watches, waits, as others carry out day-to-day tasks, or even divulge in situations that require privacy. For now, however, all that it does is watch; Rarely does Negate act in this mode.

History

The story of the gentle Abel and the reckless Mari-chan. One born on December 3, 1981, the other on January 1st, 1982, respectively. Abel was born and raised a quiet, respectful child in the motherland of London, England. Mari was born in the City of Paths, Okumichi, and unlike Abel, she did not have a rather 'peaceful' upbringing. Her parents were those who would beat a crying child until it simply stopped crying; In order to survive with such neglectful, harsh parents in her life, she had no choice but to pick up a few... less than pleasant personality quirks, in order to balance out her life with them. Thus, their personalities were set; Abel, the quiet, submissive young soul, and Mari, rough-housing, tomboyish independent.

It was by chance that their fates would intertwine; Abel, a scholar, was made to take a trip across the pond to Tokyo, Japan, in order to further his studies. Mari, who'd had enough of living with her parents, managed a job as a female bartender in a nightclub in Tokyo. How could they meet? Pressured by friends, Abel attended this very same club one night, where he and Mari, despite their differing personalities, hit it off well together. In the end, a phone number led to another meeting, which led to a date, which led to many more. Before long, the two were madly in love.

It was an odd relationship, however. One would say, from the outside looking in, that Mari was the obvious 'man' of the relationship; Whenever Abel found trouble, trouble found her. And when trouble found Mari, she beat the living hell out of it. Thus, she protected him, in a sense; Abel was always grateful for her 'tough love', and Mari was simply happy to be with someone who loved her for who she was. They dated for roughly a year, during which they came across all sorts of interesting adventures and hardships; All of which, they got through together. It went on for what seemed like forever, until the night of the engagement ring incident.

No one really knows what happened that night. From the eyes of one person off in the distance, Mari and Abel had stopped before a large statue and well, where Abel shocked his love by kneeling down and presenting her with an amazing diamond ring. He proposed, and just as he was to receive his answer, it happened. The statue, larger than most buildings nearby, fell to pot; Almost as if a wrecking ball had been thrown into it, the edifice came tumbling apart, and both Mari and Abel were caught in the immediate crossfire, not only crushed but knocked backwards into the well, to their deaths. That was the last anyone saw of the two. Of course, that is simply through the eyes of man; Through the eyes of an enlightened one, It is clearer to see the epic battle that had been occurring between a nearby shinigami and hollow, who'd been thrown into the statue by the shinigami's wrath. By that logic, it wasn't anyone's fault, right? Accidents happened.

Interestingly enough, that hollow won that battle. And after winning it, it moved on to leave the grounds of destruction, without a care for the deaths of two other people. In fact, nobody cared. For at the bottom of that well lie two lost lovers who no one really cared for in the first place; Who would know they went missing, after all? Time passed. Days became weeks, which became months. Eventually, the wreckage was cleared from the site of the fallen statue, but by that time, it was viably too late. For not only were the crushed bodyies of the victims unmanageable for the humans who sought answers, but for the unfortunate newbie shinigami sent to konsou the souls of the victims who'd been left alone for so long together, the two pluses had, strangely enough, also disappeared. What was left in their place was not two, but one hollow. A creature which proceeded to take said shinigami by surprise, and devour it within moments. And after it had eaten, the hollow disappeared from the scene of the crimes, and traversed from Tokyo, Japan, to Okumichi City.

To this day, no one knows what became of those two star-crossed lovers.

Combat

Strengths

Battle sense: While not exactly a master of killing, Negate has excellent instinct, and in battle, puts it to use by displaying its hollow fury quite harshly.

Prelude to chaos: Where Negate goes, bad things seems to happen. That's because the mentally unstable hollow usually can't help but stir up trouble around it; Its in its nature.

Weaknesses

Boredom: When presented with... well, nothing, Negate's ability to think, act, and react, are severely slowed. This is because when bored, or otherwise calmed, the hollow's mindset literally slows down to fit the occasion by using the least amount of mental and emotional energy possible.
