Appearance

Miku

Miku inherited a good amount of characteristic traits from her parents, but nevertheless the one attribute she believes describes her, truly is her style. With a closet dominated by frilly shirts, cascading dresses, and designer heeled shoes she finds the urge to play dress up on a daily basis, often wearing her floral sundress to stop by the supermarket. Because her closet vastly expands to an abyss of nowhere, she finds it hard to wear the outfit over again, normally tweaking her attire with a unique piece normally collected by her mother. A few of these vintage artifacts include an salvaged (mens) leather jacket stolen from her fathers old junk, a pearl necklace shipped from Hawaii, and a 24k gold ring presented as her 16th birthday present. Viewing her mother as a fashion icon she would take as much steps she could to be just like her, but with a youthful twist. She considers her ‘trademark’ look to be elegantly simple with stacks of bold jewelry, a splash of color and a bright smile.

Constantly surrounded by the wealthy she found herself reminded day by day about how good posture and proper etiquette are as important as H2O. Having small shoulders and a long back she realized being poise wasn’t as easy as it looked. Her monstrous 5’8” height did not help as well, as she loomed over other girls in school like a monster on heels, always finding unwanted attention just because of her body size and appearance. Eventually she grew to become fond of her different traits as she embraced her mixed ethnicity. Wavy locks of light-brown hair falls to waist length, accentuating the soft features of her heart-shaped face. Her green round/almond shaped eyes has the slight amount of Japanese descent, along with her small yet ridged nose. Due to braces, perfectly aligned teeth line her mouth, complimenting well with her soft (glossed) lips.

Personality

Raised around glamour, the young girl fell an instant servant to the necessity of beauty. Though her mother served the qualities needed for outer appearances, she also unintentionally guided Mikus internal growth.

First impressions usually take the wrong turn, as she initially sticks to a name-to-name basis, disregarding anyone and anything that does not interest her. Yet, once trusted she becomes undoubtedly loyal. She is a fairly outgoing and confident person, but would rather shy to the side when making decisions. Even with a pleasant demeanor she can be vulgar and haughty to a certain extent, especially when angered or threatened. Deep down inside she relies on pure instinct - that fuzzy sensation that comes and goes - and strongly believes in every choice made even if the outcome did not come out as suggested. All together Miku surrounds herself with a breathless complexity, raw inspiration… an extension of self.

History

The name “Minoru” was initially given by her birth parents Hiro and Diane Kuome, who both agreed on her fixed Japanese future. On a business trip to North America Hiro, the chief executive officer of a world-known auction and shopping website met Diane Green, a young Italian-American boutique owner living in the tenderloins of San Francisco. Coming from two completely different worlds their relationship took many sacrifices, especially because of Hiros constant absence and tedious working habits. But in the end their marriage flourished, blooming into a love greater than they ever imagined, and in no time Diane flew overseas to learn Japanese culture in Okumichi city. She dedicated herself to becoming a stay at home mom, merging her business into the wonders of the internet, advertising her material on Hiros website with help from his ultimate control and power. While slowly pursuing her career, she still dedicates every breath of her life to her one and only Miku.

Blessed with a wonderful family Miku never dismisses the privileges and belongings offered throughout her life. Whether it be materialistic she always obtained any belonging desired, whether or not it required money, time, or an arm and a leg. She grew up with many nannies who often spoon feed her with their highest respect, spoiling her to bits even as a young child. Due to their carelessness her childhood was easy; she had some sort of power that allowed her to command those around her with the snap of a finger. Self-centered and snooty, the little girl became the epitome of that annoying selfish brat. Eventually Diane noticed her daughters behavior and was willing to dismiss each nanny and personally renew Miku herself, successfully maturing her to what she is today.

Always introduced to new hobbies through private lessons and classes, Miku stuck to the one talent she immediately excelled at - art. Creativity dominated her life, and to this day she considers herself an artist of many sorts. In the smallest cracks she finds bundles of inspiration - especially on the annual family trips to Europe, where she is most motivated by. It is where she developed an Impressionistic style equivalent to those of Monet, Renoir, and Cassatt, but with hints of more modern pieces developed in the States. While painting is her main type of media, she also took interest in Fashion at a young age, with special help from her mother who designs her own line for a living. To her, fashion branches from art itself with the body as a canvas, and clothes as its palette. She always loved digging in Dianes closet and finding beautiful clothing, strutting around in too-big-for-you outfits around the house, always choosing the highest pair of blood red heels.

Miku never went to school. Instead, she was home-schooled with the help of many tutors and professors her parents hired. Because she was taught consistently ever since the first grade, she graduated two years earlier than the other girls around town, with two whole years to spare! Most people wonder why she didn’t just go to a Public School and finish with the rest, but the answer is simple; she tried, and she absolutely loathed it. Around Freshman year she entered a near by high school, hoping to get the ’High school experience’ through club organizations, extracurricular activities, and the varsity swim team. Yet she strayed alone, not finding any good friends or making any effort to find them herself. Because of her cold and narcissistic exterior her classmates shunned her from the start, assuming getting along would be pointless, branding her as the complete outcast of the class. Social incapability became a slight cause for her revulsion, but the main reason she absolutely hated school were the things she saw: dead people

She felt absolutely insane.

Immediately she refused to believe in any paranormal activity since then, normally shutting her eyes when walking past a chained soul, shunning out the fact she has some strange ability to ‘see things’. Even when she tries to avoid it, the more she finds herself adherent to this unsightly truth.
