Appearance
Being only 19, Korbin style has a child like youth to his appearance. His body type is thin with only minor developing muscles. Most of his muscle mass is concentrated in his arms and upper body due to years of archery practice. His weight in general reaches to only about 163 lbs and he stands at a good 5 feet 9 inches. His face is smooth and gives people the sense of young beauty, he doesn't yet have that adult like masculinity seen on most men in their 20's to 30's. Finally although his natural hair color is blond he is prone to dying it a variety of colors. It currently is dyed a nice red, however that is prone to change over time. Not only does he like to change his hair color frequently he enjoys wearing various colored contact lenses to fit with his current hair style. So with red hair comes red contacts, and again this is prone to change with time.
Personality
Korbin is a fun kid. He likes to smile and have a good time and always seems to joke around easily. In his eyes life is too short to not be spending it as happily as can be. Fortunately for Korbin he does know when humor has no place and is always appropriate while having fun. However Korbin also likes to spend time alone and if he feels overwhelmed by the sheer number of people he’ll try and find somewhere more quiet. That’s not to say he doesn’t have friends, on the contrary, Korbin loves making friends and meeting new people, he doesn’t like however hanging with a bunch of people at once. He likes moderation.
Korbin is also no idiot. He is smart and he can calculate his way into and out of a lot of situations. Sometimes he may forget himself and his genius if he’s having a good time, but most days he can see a variety of outcomes quickly. He’s quick to read a book and equally as fast at learning things. However he may forget to study and pay attention if he’s out with friends. He may be smart but knowledge has never been much of a priority.
History
Korbin was born into a Quincy family situated in Rerik, Germany. It was a quiet town on the coast of the Baltic sea. Growing up his family kept him wildly informed about the Quincy heritage and Korbin quickly grew to love his people and the Quincy craft. Korbin was always happy to here more and more information and pretty soon his parents ended up with nothing new to share.
Determined to find out more, Korbin began searching for literature or history books that may have eluded to Quincy’s and their past. It took quite a few years, all the while Korbin began training with his father, but soon he found a mysterious book filled with more information than even his parents knew. Now this information wasn’t too uncommon or unknown to the eldest of Quincy but it was new to Korbin and he eagerly soaked it up.
From that reading, Korbin learned more about the Quincy’s and even things about the Hollows and Shinigami’s. He also learned that Japan was a particularly hot spot for spiritual activity. At this time, Korbin had just recently turned 18 and wasn’t obliged to stay with his family. Although he would never sever contact with them, he did inform them that he would be leaving and traveling to Japan to seek out others like him, and to fight the Hollow scourge. Now Korbinian Guntram lives, trains, and fights in Japan.
Combat
Strengths
Learning Curve: Due to his unique nature, Korbin learns things at an incredible rate. Whether it be by reading or observing, Korbin can learn almost anything within hours. Also Korbin can easily pick out habits or styles by observing someone.
Bow expertise: While training with his Dad, Korbin had time to learn how to use a bow by practicing common archery. This was obviously an important skill to practice for a Quincy’s weapon of choice takes the form of a bow.
Weaknesses
Close Quarters Combat (CQC): While being great at fighting with a bow, defending himself with anything else, or defending himself from a close quarters weapon is Korbin’s major weakness.
Foolish: When Korbin is having a good time or is enjoying himself, he tends to forget his genius and will often do something stupid.
