Kon Tsu is Himura Takehiko's fullbring.

Takehiko and Kon Tsu are slowly becoming more synchronised with one another allowing Kon Tsu greater physical presence and Takehiko control over Kon Tsu’s power. At this point the Two separate souls can merge becoming one, Kon Tsu completely altering Takehiko’s form in a matter of seconds. The nigh unnoticeable boy suddenly grows several inches becoming 6ft tall his clothes evaporating and replaced by a pair of black jeans and work boots. His top is bare and a black tattoo appears to cover his entire torso back and front. His previously black hair turns a shocking white. The resulting person appears to be lanky with defined musculature and a rather foreboding aura. He appears to be nothing like Takehiko which is fitting since he isn’t wholly Takehiko anymore. The blade that houses Kon Tsu’s spirit seems to become sharper, the edge turning a white reminiscent of a hollows mask the main body turns pitch black. The last change is a green venomous aura that encircles the blade

Fullbring Abilities

The blade at this point is capable of only injuring the soul, although Fullbringers and Quincy can see and feel the injury it doesn’t affect their actual physical form. The power of the blade is both very simple but, extremely dangerous. Any soul that is killed by the blade becomes a part of the blade itself, their very essence consumed unable to continue on the journeys through the afterlife. Though apparently mortal wounds, such as those inflicted to the heart and neck can be survived they all take their toll. The pain of death and injury is still felt and the opponent’s stamina and mental will is slowly eaten away with each strike. What’s more due to the lack of physical injury these attacks often go unnoticed and ignored. At the end of the day though these injuries can mount up and cause the opponent to succumb to the unseen injuries meaning Kon Tsu only need make one last decisive strike to claim the essence of the soul. However, the soul itself is far more resilient than the physical body and because of this injuries inflicted will have healed completely within an hour of being inflicted and some souls are more resilient to damage than others.

Due to the lack of physical injury the attacks of Kon Tsu eat away at something far more ethereal. For purposes of combat the opponents Total point count is taken into account. If an attack from Kon Tsu connects fully it will strip away some of the power of the opponent by taking Takehiko’s Weapon Skill into account. I.E Opponents Total Points = 30 Takehiko’s Total Points = 31 (RC=1 WS=30) a full contact blow will strip away 15 points leaving the opponent with 15. This doesn’t affect their skills or anything just their relative resistance to Kon Tsu and their stamina. Yet this is only true for opponents of equal level.

Opponent has 1/10 or less the points of Takehiko = Kon Tsu will do damage equal to full Weapon Skill

Opponent has between 1/10 and 11/10 of Takehiko = Kon Tsu will do damage equal to half Weapon Skill

Opponent has up to 50% more points than Takehiko = Kon Tsu will do damage equal to a quarter of Weapon Skill

Opponent has over 50% more points than Takehiko = Kon Tsu will do damage equal to a tenth of Weapon Skill

The above are for full blows. Glancing blows do a tenth of that damage and strikes to vitals, do twice as much but, cannot exceed his Weapon Skill Stat. Nicks and slices only ever do 1 point regardless and the lowest damage that can be caused is 1 point.

Kon Tsu cannot absorb a soul until it has inflicted twice as much damage as the opponent’s total points and then manage to hit a vital point.

Strengths

Concealment: Until the point it is activated Takehiko and Kon Tsu are hidden from the spiritual world and cannot be tracked once they have parted. They are only noticeable on the spiritual radar during whatever time the power is activated. Also due to the major physiological change that occurs when the two are merged one cannot link Takehiko with the assassin Kon Tsu.

Whittle Away: Due to the method in which Takehiko’s weapon slowly whittles away at the opponents without them realising how much danger they’re in the longer a battle goes on for the better his chances become.

Full Potential: When wielding and activated Kon Tsu Takehiko is as much spiritual as physical and as a result is not limited the normal Fullbring levels.

Weaknesses

Surprise, Oh Shit: Though he may be invisible up to the point when he activates his Fullbring afterwards he is far more obvious, his striking appearance, his unusual reiatsu that seems to fluctuate up and down and has an odd aura to it. He may be able to get close and activate but, he has to be careful no one sees his activation or deactivation so they can’t link the Enigma to the harmless Takehiko.

Quick Recovery: Soul sensitive beings naturally have a higher tolerance for spirit based attacks and increased healing abilities. Because of this any wound inflicted by Kon Tsu will start to heal after about Thirty minutes and be fully recovered after an hour.

Observation: Observant spiritual beings will start to notice the seemingly more rapid decline in their stamina that can be linked to the attacks of the apparently ineffectual blade.

Mortal Coil: Mortal beings actually have an advantage over spiritual when facing Kon Tsu since injuries to their spirit essence isn't the same as to their body. Because of this Fullbringers and Quincy don't have to worry about being cut physically by Kon Tsu, reducing the number of possible fatal strikes. A stab to the heart won't pierce the heart, only the Inga no Kusari which though painful won’t kill them. Strikes to other fatal points like the femoral artery, auxillary artery or neck cannot result in blood loss although it can affect the target mentally via pain, shock and fear as well as result in even quicker drain of their energy.

Separation: Takehiko is smart enough not to carry Kon Tsu with him everywhere he goes, this then creates the problem that if someone links the Enigma and Takehiko all they have to do is wait for Takehiko to leave Kon Tsu somewhere and he has no power to defend himself with. He’s literally as weak as the unsuspecting public whom he feeds Kon Tsu with.

Activated Beacon: Takehiko’s weapon skill is for the most part a measure of how synchronised he has become with Kon Tsu. As a result when Kon Tsu is activated his Weapon Skill is added to his Reiatsu Control to determine the level of reiatsu that he appears to have. This phantom stat does nothing to his actual abilities or skill it just makes him seem more powerful than he actually is drawing more attention to himself.
