Appearance
Standing at a natural height of five foot two and a half, Kamina is in plain terms, short. She normally wears heels bringing her height normally up to a better part of five foot seven. Her hair is almost a light bubblegum colour and is kept neatly braided to the middle of her back. Her eyes are partially hidden by her neat bangs. Her eye colour is a deep chocolate.
She has an almost manly square to her shoulders but she does have a nice girlish figure with a noticeably sized bust. She has a slightly round face with a short nose. Her eyes are not the typical almond shape of the Japanese due to the fact her father was an American. She chooses male clothing over female due to the comfort and style but still sticks to heels for height. Her favorite outfit is a white undershirt, jeans, and a five inch pair of heels. (However when she’s on duty, she wears the traditional black and white garbs of a shinigami, including the sandals that put a damper on her height issue.)
Personality
Kamina is VERY short tempered and hates when people call her short… Meaning she hates stupid people who point out the obvious. She can be rude, boarder lining ruthless, and selfish at times, however there isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for someone she’s close to because she rarely cares enough for people. She prefers to work alone and most people know to leave her alone when she’s in thought, as to the fact she’s actually broke someone’s nose for interrupting her thoughts. If you get her drunk enough she is very bubbly and talkative, but sober she’s about as talkative as a brick wall.
History
Kamina was still born, winding up in Soul Society the moment she was "brought into the world". Her "real world" parents were devastated to lose their first born child, but they apparently moved on. Kamina grew up in the loving arms of an elderly couple, names unknown being referred to as "Grandma" and "Grandpa" by Kamina from the time she first learned to speak, who had found Kamina abandon in the Soul Society.
The woman usually entertained the young girl while the elderly man was usually away as a teacher for the applicants to become Shinigami. Kamina was a very outgoing and sweet child, swearing she would never have the guts to do as "Grandpa" did.
That mentality changed when a Hollow attacked her home in the Soul Society. The Hollow consumed the elderly souls in front of Kamina, but before it could consume the girl, whom was only ten at the time, she was saved by a shinigami who had responded to the emergency, since a hollow in the Soul Society was a rare occurrence.
The Shinigami was far from polite to the young girl, asking her why she had brought a hollow into the soul society. When she tried to tell him she had nothing to do with it, he told her that he didn't believe her because she was the only one in that remote area that that had survived. She was promptly imprisoned for the incident. The time she spent in solitary confinement turned her from the bubbly child to a resentful and hateful child. She was released some time later as to the fact she was innocent, even if the damage had already been done.
She made up her mind that she would become a shinigami to make "Grandpa" proud, and that that was the only way she would be able to atone for the event.
Her training and schooling wasn't a very ideal setting for Kamina. Tending to be the loner she often got in fights when she was disturbed working on her work, winding up breaking a fellow trainee's nose out of sheer anger and frustration, getting her kicked out of training until she could control herself. She reentered training some time later and this time she managed to pass all tests and exams required for placement in the Ninth Division without any incident.
Combat
Strengths
Being smart and observant, Kamina usually can find a way out of almost any situation. She also has a knack for seducing men into doing exactly what she wants.
Weaknesses
Kamina is rather afraid of people for some reason. She hates going into the “Real World” to interact with humans, merely because she just doesn’t like interaction. However, being hotheaded Kamina doesn’t think before she acts and is usually the one who tries to throw the first punch.
