Appearance

Jun stands at an even 5 feet tall, is of slightly above average build for a thirteen year old and is often seen wearing the black outfit in the image. The white outfit is only worn on special occasions. It isn't uncommon for her to be seen carrying an over sized staff in a cloth wrapping (Over sized in her case is 6 feet)

Personality

Jun is a quiet and polite child, having learned respect for her elders and the value of hard work under her fathers teachings. She is honorable, never striking an opponent who is down or unready, though she expects the same courtesy from her foes. Through her training she's learned to partially 'detach' from the world around her, wiping away any form of hesitation she might have during battle. She won't however detach if she has an ally with her, as it could bring about a dangerous situation. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, she's never been well off academically, usually managing to scrape by with barely passing grades. She strongly dislikes books and lectures, her attention wanders when she's confronted with them.

History

Jun was born in a mountainous region of china, daughter of two members of a tribe of shaman. She was born with the power to see spirits, like the rest of her tribe. She spent her first 5 years on the mountain, learning the value of hard work and beginning her bagua training under her father. Before long she had learned the first technique of bagua. Rei omoi, or no mind. An ability that allowed to her to 'detach' from the world around her and focus simply on the task at hand, making it easier to accomplish and letting her have no hesitation in doing so. However she has grown wary of it, during a simple training exercise with the other children of the tribe she used no mind. She won the mock fight, but not before injuring every other child by using them as a human shield of spring board. It was around this time her father told her they were leaving the mountain, though he hadn't told her why.

Jun always wondered why they left the mountain, but didn't ask. If her father had reason to bring her down, then it was good enough for her. Jun soon found herself in Japan, specifically okumichi city. Her father seemed to know where he was going when they left the air port, leading jun to believe her father had been there before. The two stopped briefly at a store in downtown okumichi, jun's father discussing something with the man behind the counter for fifteen minutes before they left. Their next stop took them to a building across the street from a convenience store. Her father proclaimed they would live and work there. Jun wondered about the buildings purpose for a small while. It took her a few days to realize that it was a dojo, her father made money by teaching people martial arts. They spent the rest of the year getting used to the place. When the time came for school Jun was enrolled. She yearned for the time when she could simply train at home, rather than listen to some woman blather on and on about something she didn't care about. Jun's lack of attention caused her grades to plummet until she was the worst student in her class. Jun however didn't care, she devoted herself to the study of baguazhang. She drifted through school like this, managing to pass each year by the skin of her teeth.

At 10 years of age Juns father allowed her to go out by herself. She would often wander okumichi, seeing where the wind would take her. She wound up at a book store, leaving an hour later with a copy of Sand land by akira toriyama. Jun continued to slack off in her school work while training under her father in the art of bagua, occasionally returning to the book store to purchase another volume of manga if she had time. On her 11th birthday her father proclaimed he would no longer teach her and presented her with an oak staff, if Jun was to master bagua she had to do it on her own. She never found the reasons behind this, though she never cared why. If her father said there was nothing left to teach her, then there was nothing left to learn. Despite this she still spent her free time practicing and reading manga.

Upon making it to middle school her time was temporarily taken up by an after school club that focused on martial arts. Becoming their “ace” after just a day. She returned home that day to find the dojo wrecked. Within her fathers students were scattered an unconscious. In the corner of the main room was her father, fending off a young man wielding a sword that seemed to flicker in and out of Juns sight. The attacker managed to break her fathers arm before escaping. Though jun asked him many times who the attacker was her father would not tell her. In time Jun stopped asking about the attacker, though the experience had begun to make her ponder things. Like why they'd left the mountain in the first place, why her father received such payment for teaching, and most of all why the dojo had been attacked. Perhaps soon she would get her answers...

Combat

Strengths

Jun is trained in the art of baguazhang. A martial art that employs inner strength and oversized weapons. Jun is particularly skilled with the Staff.

Her training has made her Flexible and agile, a hard target to hit.

She is able to use her inner strength to 'detach' from the world around her, giving her absolute focus on a single task and wiping away any form of hesitation that would stop her from doing so.

Weaknesses

Is afraid of causing others harm by using Rei omoi around them. As such she won't use it unless there's absolutely no other choice.

Because she expects her opponents to be as honorable as she is, she's easily caught by attacks she doesn't expect.
