Appearance
Hyunsoo doesn't fit your standard Korean girl stereotype; she's not a schoolgirl nor is she a Korean Pop obsessed fangirl. She works hard for a living, a factor that has her built rather lean and tough. Standing at 5'10" and weight 152 lbs, the Asian keeps her highlighted blonde-streaked dark brown hair in a short ponytail nearly all the time. Her face is slender, her features normal and attractive for the most part with black almond eyes.
She has a number of casual outfits for her wardrobe, but her typical wear consists of a pair of tattered blue jeans with a faded leather belt, Adidas running shoes, and a plain red Hawaiian shirt over a white tanktop. At least one pair of her boxing clothes with a first aid equipment can be found in the brown duffel bag she carries around all the time.
She also has three pairs of athletic boxers when she's fighting in the ring; a red one with a black tiger pawprint at either side, a black one with a red line running on each side, and a blue one with a white edge on the bottom.
Personality
Hyunsoo is the type to blow people off for silly questions, though generally she is calm outside of fights, coming off as both cynical and kind depending on the side you touch first. She's very competitive and isn't afraid of trying new things. Despite her general relaxed nature, it doesn't mean she doesn't have a vicious side that can strike at any given time. With a high metabolism, she loves to eat and exercise. On the flipside, Hyunsoo hates people that aren't straightforward, just wishing for them to speak their mind, even if its an insult to her.
History
Born in the downtown area of Seoul's Poei District, Hyunsoo was the oldest of four siblings; two twin boys and one youngest girl. Being the oldest in an Asian culture made her the forefigure in the family, with much pressure and expectations. Like all parents' wishes, Hyunsoo was to be tailored into a doctor, though her 1st year ceremony resulted in her reaching for money, and not a book or a stethoscope. It was a move that was frowned upon, but the parents took a chance with it for now.
In elementary school, her grades weren't too impressive, something her parents scolded often with minimal results. She eventually became a little rowdy for her parents' tastes, and subsequently became something of a thug in middle school.
The days of a troublemaker came and went, her highschool days giving her a realization when she ended up becoming expelled from school, ruining her chances of going to college. As a dread action, her parents disowned her, kicking her out to the streets.
Disgruntled, the girl landed her first job through wordplay at the local restaurant as a cashier, though her violent tendencies ended up pushing her out into the streets once more. She was tired of life. Hyunsoo eventually moved to Suwon by foot, not having any money to take a bus or a taxi.
At the age of 19, she became the center of attention in the crowded streets of Suwon, where she was nearly run over by a driver at the four-way. In retaliation, Hyunsoo dragged the driver out in anger, giving him something to think about for the next 6 weeks in the hospital. Before authorities could arrive, she was pulled from the scene by a certain trainer, who dragged her to his gym. There, she was taught proper fighting, and her strength led her to several fights, winning more than she lost. The talent eventually put her towards boxing, where she was given an offer to fight in Japan.
Complete with a passport and a few spare clothes and equipment, Hyunsoo was on her way to Okumichi City. Little did she know the surprise that would greet her there.
Combat
Strengths
Her strength is decent for her age, a result of her mandated workouts. She also has good stamina and speed. She can also take a lot of hits.
Weaknesses
When fighting new kinds of people, [i.e.: Shinigami that can manipulate water or Arrancar with super-fast sonido] it takes time for Hyunsoo to get used to it and to come up with a strategic countermeasure, which usually ends up in her getting hurt before she can launch the offensive. Her Achilles' heel just happens to be her stomach, however. Though it is firm and hardened, a strong force to her gut will leave her dazed and nervous.
