Hollow
From Inga no Kusari wiki
Hollows are former plus spirits that lose their hearts to despair or remain in the mortal world for too long. Any spirit that is not guided to Soul Society by a shinigami may eventually descend into becoming a hollow. The process by which a soul becomes a hollow usually takes months (if not longer), reflected by the length of the soul's chain of fate, which resides in the center of their chest. The chain of fate slowly corrodes over time, reflecting the degradation of the soul's ties to the living world. When the chain completely decays, the soul is warped into a unique and monstrous form with a vaguely skeletal mask and a large hole where their chain was once connected.
Once a soul becomes a hollow, it is driven to devour other souls, living or dead, to fill the void caused by its descent. While their former friends and family often become their first target, many hollows will eventually become mindless creatures concerned only with finding the most potent souls to devour. Stronger willed or more evil hollows are often able to retain some or all of their intelligence in hollow form, making them more dangerous than the average hollow. While most hollows are considered evil, or at the very least mindless, a select few and very far in between are not.
The homeland of hollows is Hueco Mundo, all hollows are able to travel there through tears in the fabric of the worlds. The special ability that each hollow possesses is known as a crezca, though hollow combat is also classified into several categories. Hollows primarily attack using their body, tooth or tail or claw or jaw; these attacks are called garras, and are mere raw outbursts of strength, with no finesse in them whatsoever beyond sheer animal killing instinct; as the Melee stat rises, these attacks grow in power, but (as hollows are not taught by anything other than experience) have no more discipline in them than when they first started. They also have ruido, governed by the hollow's Movement stat; these skills allow the hollow to creep up on its prey unnoticed, or rush into battle, or quickly turn tail and run from a fight it cannot win. Hollows' use of their Reiatsu is, like the rest of their combat, raw and unrefined; they expel it as a beam called cero, which does nothing other than the harm of anything caught in its path.

Menos Grande
A menos grande is an evolution of the basic hollow, when a hollow has consumed enough spirits, its body undergoes a transformation similar to that of a plus to a hollow. These often larger forms are known as menos grande, and they must continue to consume spirits if they wish to sustain these more complex bodies.
Gillian
Gillian is the lowest of the three classes of menos grande, they are often identical to other gillian, appearing as skyscraper sized humans with a charicaturish mask bearing a huge conical nose. Their bodies are covered in a long black shroud that starts behind their mask and carries on down to their feet. A gillian's skin is marble white, though any more of their body than their arms has never been seen.
Gillian very often lose any intelligence they accumulated as a hollow, driven back to instinctive thinking, and it is for this reason that many gillian remain in that form for the rest of their lifespans. Those few gillian that do retain their minds are often driven by the despair of their huge and clumsy bodies to consume other hollows, allowing them to advance to the next stage of evolution.
Adjuchas
When a gillian has once again consumed enough souls, it transforms into an adjuchas. Adjuchas are stronger and more complex than gillian, despite the fact that their bodies are much smaller and bear more variation between them. The body of an adjuchas typically resembles that of their hollow form, but with their dark skin covered in smooth and flexible armour plating, they almost always are much larger than a normal human.
Adjuchas often band together with hollows of similar levels in order to survive in the eternal desert of Las Noches, and these packs usually stay together throughout each member's lifetime. Through co-operation and unity, they can often easily attain the level of vasto lorde without becoming prey to other, stronger creatures.
Vasto Lorde
The pinnacle of the menos grande evolutionary chain, a vasto lorde is smaller still than an adjuchas, often resembling a human in size or shape. They are the most powerful of menos grande, with their minds free from all bestial thought and their bodies capable of superhuman feats. This is due to the fact that as a menos grande grows, its power levels do not alter, instead their body reduces in size, allowing all that strength to become concentrated into the smaller form.
With their rank above all of the other stages of hollow, vasto lordes have throughout history been the seeds of civilisation within Hueco Mundo, indeed they were responsible for first erecting the city of Las Noches. The only form of life above the vasto lorde is the arrancar.
Leviathan
The first hollow, mentioned throughout mythology as Leviathan, Jörmungandr, Aapep and other names, was born when Soul Society was still young. One of the first humans to die, it consumed its fellow spirits with great flee. Without the shinigami to purify it or send its prey on to the other world, it grew huge and fat on its endless consumption. Eventually the beast was sated, after it had grown to such a huge length that it could wrap its body around the earth and bite its own tail, and it retreated into the seas, only returning to land when its immortal hunger became too great for it to bear.
Eventually, many thousands of years after its birth the arrancar empire approached the huge creature, and told it of the evils the shinigami were doing, sending tasty morsels into a world where it could not reach. The snake, up to then ignorant of the fate of its meals, was enraged, and was spurred into action, aiding the arrancar in their war against Soul Society.
All attempts at using kidō to bind the creature were too weak, for the first hollow was far too large and terrible to be bound by the energy upon which it fed. Many hundreds of shinigami died attempting to face Leviathan, and it was only with a cunning yet tragic plan by the captains of the Gotei 7 that the beast was defeated.
Using all the strength of their existence, the captains exorcised the spirits from within their zanpakutō, and using kidō they split the spirit of Leviathan into seven parts, sealing those fragments within their blades. The plan worked, and Leviathan as finally removed from the world, but it cost the lives of the seven captains. Without Leviathan, the arrancar empire lost their war with the shinigami.
In 2008, an arrancar who named herself Queen Elmira set to work to retrieve the seven zanpakutō that contained Leviathan's spirit. Using Leviathan, she would kill every mortal in the world and feed upon the innumerable spirits, Queen of both Hueco Mundo and the mortal world. She would have succeeded, had it not been for the efforts of the shinigami and the mortals seeking to protect their world. With Elmira defeated and Leviathan once more hidden away, captain commander Ikenmaru of the Gotei 13, ordered the seven zanpakutō to be destroyed in the fires of Sōkyoku. Leviathan was no more.
Cero
Cero is an ability used by all forms of hollow, and indeed also the arrancar and visored, beings that have some connection to hollows. It is a burst of the user's reiatsu, concentrated into a destructive blast. The shinigami have compared it to their own kidō, though the cero is much more raw and untamed than their magic.
Sincrético
Cero Sincrético is the product of two hollows harmonising their cero blasts, allowing the two to merge into one single beam of the increased destructive power. It can only be used by hollows that have trained to alter the 'wavelength' of their cero.
Negacíon
Upon evolving into a menos grande, the hollow gains the ability to project a beam not unlike a cero upon other beings. This beam, rather than being destructive, encases the being within a four walled column that is impenetrable. Many menos grande use negacíon to rescue their allies from dangerous situations.
Ayuda
Ayuda is the ability for a hollow to call upon its fellows, a battle cry that draws out a pack of beasts sympathetic to the caller's cause. Though these summoned hollows are often of inferior strength to the caller, they can provide an apt distraction in order to allow the first hollow to go about their business unfettered.
