Heart of Rage is Murasaki Dante's fullbring.

Dante's ruby heirloom shines brightly before releasing a tumultuous flame. Initially, this is Heart of Rage's only distinguishing physical feature. It should be noted that this flame is essentially decoration and only serves to fuel his abilities at this stage like a lighter.

Fullbring Abilities

While active, Heart of Rage begins to automatically focus and refine Dante's spiritual energy, as well as draw on ambient spiritual energy to a small degree. It is essentially a furnace that functions as a Saketsu, boosting the spiritual power from his Hakusui (Soul Chain and Sleep, respectively), allowing him to surpass his human limits. It also acts as a form of storage, allowing him to release the energy in special ways.

Rage Seeds

By pulling the soul of the building flame from his pendant into his hand, Dante may unleash a volley of up to three molten seeds in a post cycle, each about the size of a small coin. They can travel at the speed of a Cero, and if they make contact with a being, will embed themselves into that person's soul. They can be deflected by someone with appropriate precision, however destruction is much harder and relies on a well placed energy attack of greater power. On the next post cycle, the seeds will detonate in a fiery nova of about the same heat as a Cero of equivalent power, burning both the victim and anyone he or she is unfortunate enough to be standing by. Specifically, the damage sustained by any victims will be similar to being hit by a Cero from a moderate range; even the being whose soul has the seed will not take damage as if it were point blank. The fire blast scales in size exactly like that of a Cero impact of equivalent Reiatsu.

If the seed misses its intended target and fails to attach to a soul, it will slow to a stop and begin to grow. On the next post cycle, it will have turned into a floating molten orb about the size of a beach ball and detonate, unleashing a volley of fireballs. It is essentially a floating ball of magma that if struck physically will simply absorb the impact. With sufficient Reiatsu (exceeding Dante's own) it may be destroyed with a energy attack (at the destroyer's own risk) before it is fully grown. This orb will then burst, loosing fireballs (each at one-tenth Dante's Reiatsu in power) in all directions. Each fireball is twenty times faster than a seed, making it share a relation to the original seed that is similar to that between Cero and Bala.

Backdraft

Heart of Rage immediately cools and is drawn back into the pendant. This ability allows Dante to switch to a different Fullbring. Switching Fullbrings deactivates Heart of Rage, though any abilities already executed will remain in effect for their respective durations. Dante may switch forms once per post cycle.

Strengths

Just Burn Everything - Heart of Rage possesses a great deal of potential for causing mass destruction. Its initial ability is especially hazardous for groups.

Endless Rage - Due to his Fullbring's furnace-like behavior, Dante possesses a great deal of stamina while it is active. Simply put, he will not exhaust himself of Reiatsu completely while under the effects of Heart of Rage. At most, he must rest for a few minutes before he can resume usage.

Unbound Flame - Heart of Rage allows Dante to surpass his human limits while it is active. In terms of Reiatsu Control, he is not bound by the 1700 cap for as long as he is using Heart of Rage.

Weaknesses

Indiscriminate Incineration - The major drawback of Rage Seeds is that Dante only has control of where he throws the seeds. After that, any and all of their effects can cause him just as much harm as his enemies if he is careless.

Burnout Inferno - Though capable of releasing three seeds a post, doing so every cycle will result in an exhaustion-like state called "Burnout". He can safely fire one seed per cycle every cycle without repercussion, but launching multiple seeds in succession will force him to take a breather. Each additional seed beyond the first fired per cycle will add a post cycle worth of Burnout. When under the effects of Burnout, Dante is unable to use any of Heart of Rage's activated abilites or shift forms, however, passive ones are still in effect.

Form Shift - While using Heart of Rage, Dante cannot use the distinct abilities of his other Fullbrings unless he changes form. In order to access his other Fullbrings' abilities, he must activate the respective Fullbring, switching forms in the process. Switching Fullbrings deactivates Heart of Rage, though any abilities already executed will remain in effect for their respective durations. Dante may switch forms once per post cycle.
