Gabriel is Gilbert Larousse's Zanpakutō.
[1] Gilbert's chain from his collar is attached to the butt of the grip. It's about 77 centimeters long. It has a religious ceremonies carved into the grip, something pretty but it also allows more of a hold on it when he uses it. It has a highly glossy blue sheen across the blade. The Sheath is a dark, almost bordering a light black, blue color with gold metal detailing. Gilbert carries it with the straps sitting on a shoulder and rests on one of his hips; secured by the clinking chain of the collar wielded to the bottom of the grip. (Basically it's like a shoulder purse, nothing slung on a shoulder and brute looking.) He carries it like this for the long size and because is allows for a somewhat quick draw when he's stationary.

Spirit Description

[2] He reflects the Archangel Saint Gabriel. He's usually shrouded in darkness, but emanates by his own light of white and light yellow. He is often floating with feathers floating all about. He often likes to hold Gilbert's chain from his collar.

Shikai

Release Command: "Sentogaburieru wa anata no tsubasa no shita ni watashi o tsurete kuru" ("Saint Gabriel come take me under your wing") The blade curves into an angelic wing shape with a sharp jagged edge (As common with a wing shape), finely detailed across the metal to have the look of carved feathers. Where the Tsuba should be is a pair of wing shaped stiff leather that wraps around both of Gilbert's hands. It gains another nine centimeters (A new length of 86 centimeters) almost the length of a Nodatchi, but becomes much more heavier.

Shikai Abilities

Chinmoku noizusentogaburieru (Silence the Noise Saint Gabriel)

This ability shrouds everything in the surrounding area in absolute silence. From the point of activating it, it has a radius of 70 meters (~ 230 ft) for a combined diameter of 140 meters (~ 460 ft) with Gilbert in the center. (It's essentially a Spherical shape, which extends up into the sky and under the ground) It's not a natural silence, but a silence that allows no sound of movement above or below the ground; words/vocalizations; echo's; and no sound of battle. Powers and Abilities will work for all releases of a weapon (Shikai, Bankai, Senkai, Ressurecion, Sequndo Etapa, Crezca, Kidō*, Artefact, and Glint). Your voice is only some physical form of releasing your weapon, and even if the words are soundless they are still released since they are part of the soul.

• Kidō is only able to be used in the same way as fully releasable weapons if it's in Tier Three and Four (since many spells by this time can be used without an incantation.)

Once this ability is used, Gilbert can move about, the area of absolute silence following him with him as the fixed center, so it stays at the same size. There is no physical indications of where the line of limit is to anyone, including Gilbert. This can last two pages long, with a two page cool down. (Basically the max amount of time it can run is two pages, but it can last anywhere from a few posts to two pages). He can use it about three times before he needs a 4 page cool down from the ability altogether.

Kandakai noizusentogaburieru o utau (Sing a Shrill Noise Saint Gabriel)

This Ability produces a trois of sound pressure, frequency, and sound intensity (In relation to one another). Frequency is around 12 kHz (A high whistling sound, which is constant during the whole length of the ability); sound pressure being around 2.5 pascal which equals about 235 decibel. Basically Gilbert calls upon for his Shikai to produce an ear piercing tone (That's where Frequency comes into play), but the pressure and decibel intensity are so inhumanly high that it can cause an opponent to rupture their eardrums. It can also cause temporary hearing loss during battle (And can continue after the battle depending on circumstances in the battle). The opponent will feel an intense pain and pressure in their head and ears specifically, but other symptoms may occur like vertigo, lightheadedness (low blood pressure), nausea/vomiting, bleeding of the ears (or other orifices), etc.

It just goes straight out in all directions (since it's yet a sphere, except the space surrounding Gilbert is less to get the effected unlike what he is affecting to others.) and dimensions of 70 meters radius in the spherical shape. This attack is often stationary (meaning it does not follow Gilbert around and tends to stay in the pre-shaped sphere because Gilbert often can not move during this ability). It has a five post limit (Right after each other, not for every post of Gilbert's) and it has a page and five post cool down. (Basically it means that the max amount of posts is five, but it can last between one to five posts.) He can use this ability about three times with a 3 page cool down after to rest his body.

Sentogaburieru no tsubasa (Saint Gabriel's Wings)

This is basically just Gilbert using the released weapon as, well as it's suppose to, a weapon. Attacking and Defending himself using the jagged sword. It's basically just the name of the released weapon, but Gilbert find it takes ability to swing around the long and heavy weapon.

Strengths

Absolute Silence: The opponent is desensitized of sound, therefore battle tends to be interesting. This spherical area can also occasionally disturb spiritual pressure inside of it (The person is not effected, the reiatsu in general is, It masks reiatsu from the user sensing it. It's a short amount of time of about less than a minute when it happens and it occurs not all the time either)

Brute: Just the pure weight of the winged sword is enough to give someone a good beating with, regardless if they get cut by the edge of it.

Absolute Noise: The second ability is very useful in causing somewhat permanent damage if used for more than a few times in a Battle on an opponent.

Weaknesses

Movement Restriction: With the Weapon attached to the chain hanging from Gilbert's collar, it restricts how much Gilbert can move the weapon around

Weight and Length: The increased weight of the weapon and newer length combined with the thin boyish look of Gilbert make it difficult for him to handle his weapon properly at this time (Though he can hold it up and use it for fighting and defending)

Kidō Restriction: Having both of his hands wrapped against the grip of his weapon, it inhibits Gilbert the ability to use Kidō against another.

Absolute Silence: In the Absolute Silence ability, it effects Gilbert too, so while it can be beneficial, he's just at risk as his opponent.

Cloistered: Nothing special except his collar will dig into his neck every time his weapon clashes with another's. It can cause him to feel like he can't breath. Why it happens is unexplainable at the point in time.

Sound Damage: When he sends out the The Absolute Sound to others, he will also suffer effects similar to Ménière's disease (Subjective Tinnitus: ringing and whistling in the ears, both sides; Vertigo; fullness and pressure in both ears; migraines; and a slow progressive hearing loss in both ears), that occurs after battle. He will suffer lightheadedness during battle and will occasionally fall because of it, even after he has stopped using the attack.

Effectedness: Absolute Sound and Absolute Silence not only effects Opponents, but allies as well. So they will suffer similar responses to being under the influence of the ability, even if they are close to Gilbert.
