Appearance
Tall and lanky. Daniel hit a growth spurt late in his life, and has not started slowing down with the height part. He stands at approximately 6 feet tall, which give him a very imposing figure. His skin is naturally dark, a tanned brown colour, and his hair, jet black, is about medium length, but matted and unruly due to his Spanish/African American background a lack of care. He has a single tongue piercing, and a couple of provocative finger tattoos. A zip-up hoodie, tank top, a pair of brand-less jeans and some old kicks are good enough for him, any day of the week.
Personality
Smart and damn proud. Despite his African American/Spanish decent, Daniel is very much inspired by himself, and usually self-motivated. He only knows how to move forward, never looking back on his mistakes, or anyone else's. His sheer confidence in some cases may even come off as inspiring to others, without his knowing it. He has never considered himself an 'underdog', never been much of a 'loser' at anything he's done in life, instead believing that everything happens for a reason, and usually not giving up at anything until it's done right.
He has a straight face; Many people consider his intense stare irritating, but since day one, Daniel has always focused only on moving forward in life. He is slightly lacking in the personality department, and isn't the most 'fun' person to be around, but an all-around nice-enough guy to know, and a source of encouragement on those rainy days. His modus operandi is to allow his single-minded determination fuel his actions in the heat of the moment, even if it means pushing himself beyond his own limits... Limits he is well-enough aware of.
History
Daniel Jader was born and raised in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Single child to middle-class parents Mark and Theresa Jader, Daniel grew up like any other kid, never a moment in his life where he absolutely had to work his butt off in order to get by. Despite that, he did so anyway. Top of his class from day one, Daniel was an avid reader, writer, and showed a great interest in learning. He was the apple of any teacher's eye, and most other kid's ire. Eventually, said ire grew to bullying, where Daniel was pushed around by many of the bigger kids in his class who didn't like him.
Although his parents and teachers were quick to do something about this, Daniel was never one to sit back and let something happen over and over, if he could stop it. At a young age, he asked his father if he could teach him how to fight, not knowing the weight of his own words. Instead of taking out back, Mark would, reluctantly, sign his son up for boxing lessons. If it would soothe his son's irritation at not being able to defend himself, then why not?
What no one predicted, especially not his parents, was that Daniel would take to boxing faster than he took to books; And that was pretty darn fast. He went from the junior's divisions, where the kids his age would practice, to watching the big boys work it out in the ring. Of course, little Danny was no where near old enough to compete with the older kids, but every second he watched, he learned something new. His instructor contacted Daniel's parents one night, explaining this to them. Daniel had the potential to be something great.
Juggling school and boxing practice until he reached highschool became a simple, everyday thing for Daniel. It was in highschool that he would eventually join his school's boxing team, and finally shine like the young star that he was. Those kids in his weight class didn't have anything on Daniel. When he wasn't studying, and boxing practice was over, he was helping some of his other 'teammates' with their footwork. In this way, Daniel went from being thought of as a little bookworm to one of the more popular kids in school.
Daniel went on to top the all-time winlist of Pentucket Regional, and brought home two trophies in his four-year highschool career. The second of which, attained during his senior year (in a match against a boxer reigning from South Korea) would inspire him to broaden his horizons, and try heading across seas in the pursuit of higher learning and competition. Thus, on a sponsored scholarship, and with his parent's blessings, Daniel said goodbye to his hometown of West Newbury at the young age of 20, and headed across seas to Japan. Despite having to travel to Tokyo, and other prefectures, Daniel currently resides in the Okumichi Hotel, and attends an online college.
