Appearance
Taking on an appearance that seems very reminessenct of the ancient dragons of medieval folklore, Fiera looks like an odd hybrid of lizard and man. Appearing to be either a teenager about to enter the first years of adulthood or a young man with a few years of experience under his belt, the Arrancar has the complete stature of a male human. Standing at an average six foot one and weighing in around one hundred and ninety-seven pounds, it is of no surprise that Fiera is build like an athlete. A small bodily volume detailed by highly toned muscle mass.
From a distance of ten feet Fiera would look almost like an ordinary young man. Other than the dark red hair that frames that falls from his head framing his face, and his piercing red eyes. But when one approaches the red head they can see something else that makes him stand out even more than his hair and eye color. His skin appears to be covered in a new ending pattern, similar in appearance to the scales on a lizard. Truthfully this is exactly what Fiera's skin is made of, flesh covered scales run over the majority of his body. These scales are most notable in direct sunlight, causing the young man to almost shine if seen from particular angles.
The remains of his former hollow existence are twofold. The most noticeable of the two being the pair of horns that seemingly extend from Fiera's skull. The two pointed pieces of bone are actually the remaining fragments of his now removed mask. A small hole the size of a human fist is the other hallmark of hollowness on the Arrancar's body, located a few inches below his neck.
While he wandered the expansive dessert of Huceo Mundo, Fiera clothed himself in a dark attire, suitable for his needs of hunting as his clothing allowed him to blend into the permanent darkness with ease. Since arriving in Los Noches he has adopted the signature uniform of the espada, though he still wears the tattered remains of a black cloak from his travelling days. This cloak is wrapped around Fiera's neck and covers the hole in his chest which would otherwise be left revealed by the open white jacket he wears.
Personality
Even as early as the last few days as a regular hollow, there seemed to be a faint hint of personality in the demented soul that was birthed from Daemon de Valihai's soul. It can not be said if the human's sense of self grandeur was passed on to the hollow or not, but regardless the two this aspect in their personalities. As the existence known as Fiera slowly began to come together, this trait quickly established itself as the dominant of all others.
Convinced that he was on a higher scale than most around him, Fiera devoured his fellow Gillian without any hesitation. As his feeding practices began to grow, along with his strength, the hollow began to develop more of a personality. When he had time to think about anything other than feeding his nearly endless appetite his thoughts revolved all around himself and how he was meant for something greater than those around him. Not because he was stronger or wiser than the others, but because there was something in his future as well as his past. He was part of something much grander than the average. Thus Fiera began to believe that he was a creature of legend and mythology. The form his body took echoed this thoughts, and when he ascended to a Adjuchas his bodily image was fully realized.
Born again as a fierce lizard comparable to the medieval legends Fiera his personality developed even more. Still a creature who felt to be better than those around him, he quickly became filled with fierce pride. Coupled with that pride was the new found respect that he quickly developed a respect for the adversaries he faced. No longer were his opponents easily slayed with only a few measly attacks. They had evolved just as he had evolved and now a good meal required a battle though often brought Fiera near his deathbed.
With this respect there also game great anger and rage. The great beast held respect for the adversaries he usually fought one on one. A battle of pride and of necessity as he saw it. There was nothing less honourable than that. However the vile creatures who travelled in hordes, trying to ambush the strong and mighty and defeat them in order to obtain their power infuriated the dragon.
This anger and rage was at first suppressed and used to fuel the great behemoth. Channeling the hate filled emotions into his attacks, Fiera found that the anger and rage enhanced his strength. However this process took a tole on the Adjuchas' mind and soon the great dragon found himself going berserk on the battlefield, consumed by his anger and rage. Soon the fits were brought on by something as simple as hunger, sending the once honourable beast into a frenzy which would not come to a halt until he feasted to his hearts content. It was during one of these fits that the hollow tore off his own mask.
Awakening in a new form in the same familiar place, Fiera immediately knew that he had ascended to the plateau he was destined for. Without even needing to slaughter any of the under developed hollows around himself, the newly transformed Arrancar knew that he had the potential to wield a power that these others could not begin to comprehend.
It wasn't until he arrived at Los Noches that Fiera realized that he had yet to attain the presence in life which he felt he was destined for. Coming to the community he quickly learned that he had new heights which had yet to be reached and thus the final portion of his personality manifested then. Determination was born within the Arrancar and like his hunger it would not go away until completely satisfied.
History
Born in a time of great discovery and mystery, Daemon himself was birthed into a family consisting of only his two parents and himself. His mother was a home-maker and his father one of the countless men who often left to explore the new world that continued to grow each and every day. Such was the lifestyle and when he was of age Daemon also left on such a voyage, leaving behind friends and family in order to explore the great nothingness beyond what he knew. Sadly the young man only made it half way through his first journey before his life was taken. A violent storm hit while he was out to sea with his father and the rest of the crew.
Daemon died that night in the crashing waves and his dead body sank down to the dark abyss below. There his spirit waited for salvation, constantly wishing to know the whereabouts of his father whom he looked so up to so much. As the days passed the young Spaniard's sanity quickly began to diminish. He had first believed himself to be living until he realized that he was underwater. Then he proposed it was a dream. Yet constantly waking to the same scene proved that this was also wrong. Unable to comprehend what was going on around him the spirit was quickly thrust into madness and his chain of fate began to rapidly deteriorate. After four months and six days the being known as Daemon no longer existed, and his soul was twisted into the demented being known as a hollow.
As a newly created hollow the first order of business was to feed, and to feed immediately. Thus the horrible being quickly learned how to swim using its limbs and after days of searching the ocean it found a small island. On this island were the remaining survivors of the very ship Daemon had sailed upon. Thus the hollow was first drawn to Daemon's father, killing him without a second thought. Then the rest of the crew was equally slaughtered. As their spirits separated from their physical bodies the hollow had its first real feast.
For a long time the hollow survived by swimming down to the ocean floor to pray on the spirits of those who had drown. Occasionally it would also find the spirits of men recently deceased on islands and such. It was years before the beast made it to the main lands of Spain, where it first encountered another of its kind.
By this time the hollows appetite had grown so enormous that anything with any form of spiritual pressure looked appealing to it. Thus when it set its eyes upon the newly formed hollow it wasted no time in attacking and devouring the being. This was the first time it had tasted its kin and the taste was that which was enough to satisfy for the time being.
It was a countless number of years later while the hollow was roaming the shores of Central America when it witnessed something completely new. A dark rift had opened a few miles out from the shore and from it emerged one of its kind. The dark rip seemed to stay open for a short time after the other hollow had exited, and with curiosity Daemon's hollow moved towards it.
Dealing with the weaker hollow on his way to the rip, the stronger of the two had time to feast quickly before reaching the strange dark hole in the sky. Clearly it had been larger before, and had begun to shrink in size. It was just barely large enough to admit the hollow as it was, and thus without delay the hollow stepped through the dark void and emerged in a dark land covered in sand.
It was in this place that mass amounts of prey lurked. But where there were things to be hunted, there were also those who hunted it. The hollow quickly learned that he was in competition with countless numbers of others just like himself, looking for their next meal at every turn. In fact for some he was a meal itself, and thus the dangerous cycle of hunter and hunted began.
During this process the hollow stumbled upon a mass area of feeding. As far as his eye could see there lay beings exactly like himself tearing into each other and feasting in and endless display of cannibalism. Euphoria had been reached and without a second thought the hollow plunged into the masses and began its feast as well. It was at this point that the hollow was incorporated into a larger entity known as a Menos.
The Gillian class Menos which Daemon's hollow had been assimilated into continued to wander the expansive desserts of Huceo Mundo aimlessly searching for even more food. It was during these travels that the Gillian began to evolve on its own accord, taking on a unique mask that made it stand out amongst its brethren. This was caused by the emergence of the Daemon's hollow. Through sheer will the presence of the hollow had remained after being assimilated into the giant being, creating a new entity far more powerful than the original hollow had originally been.
Along with the tremendous boost in power came a large amount of intellect as well. No longer was the hollow a grunting and babbling brute. It was able to create speech patterns easily and found itself thinking all manner of things. One such thing the Gillian class hollow thought of was its own name. After much consideration it decided to name itself Fiera. From that day on the hollow known as Fiera roamed Huceo Mundo, following its predator instincts to seek out and devour the other Gillians.
After years of mundane and routine feeding, the hollow had finally filled its appetite and the next stage of evolution occurred. It's body shrank in size and took on a form much more distinctive than anything it would have looked like before. The giant Gillian grew more limbs and its mask changed even further, until finally the image of a demonic dragon was born. With this birth came an even higher level of power and intelligence.
With his new form and sense of being, Fiera now roamed the plans of Huceo Mundo with a purpose. That purpose was to attain something that the others could not touch, to do something that he felt destined to do. And in order to achieve this the Adjuchas class hollow knew that he would need to keep his strength up. Thus as he went forth on his journey he would fight those who stood in his way.
He encountered countless opponents of different merit. Rarely would he come upon a lone hollow, but when he did he rejoiced. These classes between two hollows were honest battles where only the fittest would survive. And while the dragon did survive it was often by the skin of his neck. As he would feed on the flesh of his defeated adversaries the beast would look back on his struggles with pride and honor.
Yet these were the rarity, and the majority of the struggles in Fiera's quest for dominance were made up of fending himself off from large masses of weaker hollows. These hordes would attack him at any time that they pleased and in any fashion and these attacks did not sit well with Fiera what so ever.
It was due to these random attacks that the hollow slowly began to lose control, being consumed with the rage and hatred he felt for these weaker and less honourable hollows. At first the rage would subside after the source had been taken care of. Yet as time went on and the rage continued to build, the berserker fits would continue on for hours and later days at a time.
Soon the fits were brought on any kind of annoyance that came to Fiera. The simplist pang of hunger would send the large beast into uncontrollable fits of rage that would last for days at a time. It was during one of these hunger induced fits that the hollow grabbed at its own mask and tore it off in complete anger.
The birth of an Arrancar took place at that time, and when Fiera awoke in his new state he knew that this was the power that he had been chasing after for so long. With this new found power he had only one destination left, one place that called his name. It was the giant building could be seen no matter the distance. It was the place were the strong gathered. It was the place that Fiera would rule over one day.
Combat
Strengths
Scaled Skin – Acting as a form of defence by itself, the Arrancar's skin is much tougher than that of his allies. The scaled skin acts as a thin layer of armour that has proved on numerous occasions to be much more difficult to pierce than the regular softer flesh of his kin.
Berserker Strength – While in one of his rage induced fits, Fiera's stength manages to continue on no matter what. Despite the number of wounds he may have suffered or the amount of energy he has used up, his strength does not falter while in his berserker state. The only way to counter act this is to either calm Fiera down or to tire him out.
Weaknesses
Regal Pride – The warrior refuses to believe that honor is not possible in life and on the battlefield. Living his life by honor as often as possible, Fiera will stick as close to the honor code as he can. The only exception to this is if his opponent or target has broken the code of honor first, at which point he is no longer required to follow the code either.
Berserker's Rage – Unable to distinguish between friend of foe, strong or weak, good decision or bad while in his berserker state, the Arrancar simply throws himself at whatever it is that is nearest to him. This could be an friend, an inanimate object, or an illusion that has been placed in his mind. Regardless the fierce warrior is unrelenting with attacks until his foe is vanquished or he can barely function.
