Appearance
Cyril Alcott, at nearly 18 years old, is in the peak and prime condition of his life. Exercise and good amounts of nutrition have placed him at precisely 5 feet tall and 10 inches, and he's still growing. His skin is light, brighter than that of most asians. This is largely due to his background, though the blood of his asian mother shows in his face. His eyes are a grey, and therefore usually disputed as being 'coal black'. Despite coming close to the end of puberty, Cyril maintains a boyish, almost tomgirl-ish charm to his features, and has a clean, blemish-free face, and lacks facial hair. Speaking of which, he has a long, well-kept dark hair, easily reaching his waist, which he keeps in two long, thin ponytails. They are tied down from head to end by white ribbon, so only the very ends of his ponytails are visible. The rest of his hair, too short to reach the ponytail in the back, forms a single bang that hangs over his left eye. His left hand is gloved, and right arm wrapped in tape, due to the fact that the entire thing is burned. He wears a form-fitting white t-shirt which bears the Quincy symbol on it, and khaki pants. On colder days, he'll wear a black jacket over it, which also bears the symbol. He wears his quincy cross around his neck.
Personality
Cyril is slightly childish, and a strong believer of doing just that; What he beleives in. He will always do what he believes is the right thing to do, even if it brings the possibility of putting himself in harms way. Just as well, his Quincy teachings have impacted him deeply and inscribed a code of honor and respect upon him. He definitely does respect others and their opinions, no matter who they are, but almost never allows other people to directly, or indirectly, influence his beliefs.
He is a kind enough friend to have in public, and despite his constant training, he keeps up with current events, trends and fads. He is loyal to a fault, but not very naive, due to his teachings. He will almost always 'ask questions first, then shoot', unless the situation requires immediate action. Self-confident, the boy doesn't let the world get him down; He'll usually make the best out of any situation.
History
Cyril Alcott was born on March 3rd, 1993. The first, and only child of his family, he never had to compete for attention or worry about being left alone. His mother, a bright young asian woman, worked a part time job as a librarian; After marrying and settling down, however, she quit her job and started raising her new son full time. His father worked in a businessman career in corporate society; He brought home a large enough salary to ensure that the family lived well enough by himself. This meant that, especially during Cyril's younger years, he wasn't around a lot of the time. Thus, Cyril mainly only knew the warmth of his mother as a baby, who was with him almost all the time.
Once he reached the age of 3, however, Cyril would start seeing more of his father. He was a very broad man, able to speak english as clear as day, despite being in Japan. He was stern in his ideals, but a reasonable person to be around and always, from what Cyril knew of him, did the right thing. That was the kind of the person that he was; A careful person who always did the right thing. He would become a close part of his life, as Cyril would soon begin training to become a full-fledged Quincy. This was a process that took years, but due to the fact that they started young, Cyril quickly picked up the teachings.
As he was taught, Quincy were the protectors of the blind; humans who, unlike himself, were unable to see spirits. This meant that he was, like most quincy, was to work carefully from the shadows to protect the innocents from corrupt souls who would prey on them. These corrupts souls, 'hollows' as they were called, drew particular interest in Cyril; Not particularly bad interest, but interest nonetheless. He was told that killing them was a method of saving their lost souls; That by defeating them, he was sending their souls beyond, to their final resting place. It only seemed right, by that logic, he did what he could to 'save' them.
So, driven by his beliefs, Cyril was brought up with the knowledge of hunting hollows. And hunt them he did; With every passing day, his mind focused, his skills honed, and his body grew stronger. Soon, he was ready to take an oath, to become a bona fide member of the Quincy cult. A great step forward for his progress, and a moment of pride between his father and himself, as it was a step towards manhood for him. He now lives with these parents under normal family circumstances, in Okumichi, Japan.

Strengths
Sense of honor: Loyal, honest, and respectful to a fault, the Quincy honors those who do right by him.
Lightweight: Cyril is relatively light, meaning he travels fast, moves agily and doesn't take up much space.
Multilingual: A Japanese mother and English father have given Cyril a multitude of language skills.
Weaknesses
Headstrong: Because Cyril tries so hard to do what is right, he sometimes makes reckless decisions.
Blind loyalty: Unknowingly, his sense of honor and loyalty allow Cyril to be easily misled and used.
