Carcajada

Carcajada is Sin Ruta's Resurrección.

It is a quite unremarkable blade, its only distinguishing feature being the serrated edge upon the habaki. The tsuba is a dull silver, constructed of a ring and connected to the hilt of the katana by the coiling network of a silvery briar bush. Due to the nature of Sin's resurrecíon, the blade screams loudly whenever it is drawn but not released. Though not the main component of his dormir, the screaming blade is incredibly irritating for all those that hear it and could lead to disorientation.

Release Command: Scatter, Carcajada!

With the release of Carajada, Sin's mask fragment vanishes. Around his neck are a string of skulls, the one that sits at the centre being that of his hollow form, a one-eyed crow's skull. His arrancar uniform shifts into a white dolman jacket with black braiding topped by a cape of white strips of fabric that flutter individually. Each strip of the cape is about an inch and a half wide and reaches down to Sin's ankles. The rest of his uniform is quite unremarkable. His katana is dispersed, leaving him with his wakizashi, but the ability of his resurreción more than makes up for that.

Resurrección Abilities

Sin's resurreción allows him to summon raven-like creatures composed of his reiatsu and imbued with the same speed as his movement stat. Each of the raven's wings, talons and beak has the sharp edge of a blade and can operate independently of Sin's control - all he need do is decide on a target and they will attack. The number of ravens is tied directly to how many spirits Sin has killed in his lifetime as an arrancar, at present he has killed one-thousand and eight, meaning that there are the same number of ravens present.

All the ravens are summoned at the time of release, and cannot be re-summoned if they are 'killed'. Their strength lies in their speed and numbers.

Strengths

A Murder of Crows - Carcajada summons a flock of crows with sword-sharp beaks, talons and wings and the ability to perform sonido. If all of them were focused upon a single opponent death would usually be instantaneous. And the more deaths he causes, the more crows he gains.

Fly, My Pretties! - Sin does not need to use Carcajada to fight for him, he could just as easily have them act as a distraction or discouragement to ensure that he is victorious in combat.

Weaknesses

Soft Bellies - The ravens, just like their mortal kin, are killable. A sure stab to their (admittedly small) bellies or decapitation would surely end their life. Their strength lies in numbers.

Short Sword - With Carcajada released, Sin is left with just his wakizashi to fight with. This means that he cannot access his dormir and his attack reach is only half that of what it would be if he had his katana.
