Spirit Description

Bun Shu-ki no yume appears to Ace as an older agile man. Bun Shu-ki no yume tends to jump from side to side as if not wanting to stay still long enough to be seen by the boy. If Ace gets a good enough look, then he would notice that the spirit has silver like his and solid white eyes. His spirit tends to be slim, but muscular.

He stands about 5'10" and wears fighting gear as if he is about to go fight.

Shikai

Release Command: Sing, Bun Shu-ki no Yume!

Bun Shu-ki no Yume, released
Bun Shu-ki no yume: Released. He has one on each arm.

Shikai Abilities

The effects:

  • Bun Shu-ki no yume works best with people who can hear, but since it deals with sound waves as well, a person who is deaf is still able to be put under his effects.
  • It takes reiatsu to begin the effects, but each one is different. Yakan and pawasonata becomes passive abilities and continue to work and Shuryo needs a constant flow to work.
  • Using multiple Sonata's is possible, but Ace does not know how to do that yet.

Yakan sonata (Nocturnal Sonata)

Bun Shu-ki no yume, plays a tune that entangles itself in the spiritual pressure and energy of Ace's enemy, hypnotizing the user and pushing them into a drowsy state. The music is so attune with his enemies energy that Only the person fighting Ace can hear it. Once this takes effect the persons' body starts feeling drowsy and sluggish. Usually having them feel as Ace has gotten faster. Once his song change or he puts his Zanpoktou up the effect of this songs ends.

  • It takes Yakan 3-4 consecutive post to take full effect. One post as it is released and on Ace's second post the one after the release.
  • If his enemy is one or two Tiers stronger than him then the effects will be strong and then moderate and the higher up they are the weaker the effect will be until it has no effect on him whats so ever.
  • Yakan only works on one enemy at a time.

Pawasonata (Power Sonata)

Bun Shu-ki no yume, once again entangles its music into his wielders Spiritual energy and pushes his body to the physical peak of his stage at the moment. Making him a little faster and stronger by a fraction of his normal power and speed for a total of 3-5 post.

  • Depending on Ace's Tier i.e. he has no tier at the moment so when he uses Pawasonata it will boost him up to the next tier in his reach, in this case the first tier.
  • The effects of this ability only gives Ace the strength and last for about 4 post of his and ends when the post are over, he switches sonata's or he passes out.

Pawasonata Effects

  • By giving him raw power and speed Ace could never truly keep the bonuses or gain any new ability. It's only raw power.
  • Using Pawasonata more than four posts per battle per day would, put a strain his body, giving him injuries that will resemble broken bones and torn muscles.

Shuryo Sonata (End Sonata)

Bun Shu-Ki no Yume's final sonata is a beautiful melody and light show that occurs when both the Yakan Sonata and Pawasonata fail to bring Ace a win. Concentrating all of his spiritual pressure into one final attack.

  • By tapping Bun Shu-Ki no Yume together he will release a devastating sonic wave, about the width of small car towards his enemy with the strength of a #60 Kidō used by a person of his skill level. As he gets stronger the power of this attack gets stronger.

The Wave

  • Range: 4 mi Stronge 2 mi medium 1 mi weak and vanishes
  • Width: 3meters
  • Length: 2meters Long
  • Type of Attack: Shock Wave it moves at 300 m/s

Strengths

  • Yakan Sonata: The melody is so high pitched and beautiful, that the enemy does not know that the ability is being used until the very last minute and by that time it is to late to try to avoid it.
  • Pawasonata: The affects of this boost Ace's strength level to the next rank. Meaning if he is 10th seat fighting a 9th then he becomes a 9th seat power and so forth.
  • Shuryo Sonata: This has the potential of causing whomever hit with this major damage.

Weaknesses

  • Yakan Sonata: Its main weakness in Ace's eye is that it slows the enemy down for him instead of allowing him to fight him head to head. Yakan can only work on one enemy at a time and as he switches opponents the effects dial down and soon cease to affect them until he goes back to that person.
  • Pawasonata: Main weakness is that if Ace is training with his Lieutenant than he will still be that of an unseated member of his squad. Since he is not in a seat, his power will only go up by a fraction of his opponent.
  • Shuryo Sonata: With this being a final resort if Ace misses the opponent then he would be to drained to continue to fight. He would still fight, but it would be him being hit and tossed around like a rag doll. Hitting his enemy or missing him will still cause Ace to have to relax for 3 weeks so his Spiritual power returns and his injuries can heal.

Bankai

Banshi

Banshi

Ace's Bankai is that of a gold and shimmering guitar, that has angel wings near the hilt. The blade is the same length of his shikai blade. The thing that is different from other Bankai or shikai blades is that it has strings on it that are infused with his reiatsu making them unbreakable or seemingly unbreakable.

Bankai Abilities

Deadly Notes

begins at the tip of the blade which is approx. 50" long(4 ft.). When using this Ace swings the blade at the enemy and when it connects with target be it body or blade it releases a sound wave that is around 1 to 2 feet in radius around the tip of the blade, with distance following behind the blade of 1 ft. When the blade connects the target and the user hear a sonic boom that knocks the target back and damages the area near or touching the blade. Ranging from cracks in the surface of the weapon to Deep gashes in the flesh and burst blood vessels on the targets person. Depending on where his blade connects and what string he plays during the attack.

i.e.

E Note: (Normal weapons and Spiritual Weapons), if the weapon is normal it will start to shatter the blade by putting cracks through out the weapon. If it is a Zanpakutō the blade would have the flow of reiatsu disrupted. The more he hits the blade the more fragile it becomes and the quicker the reiatsu flow will be interrupted. Takes about 5 hits on a normal blade to break and around 10 for the reiatsu to be disrupted within Zanpakutō and spiritual based weapons. It would take 5 straight post to shatter a blade by the music alone and 5 of Ace's post to interrupt reiatsu flow.

A Note: Rocks, Buildings, Cars etc. will begin to shatter if hit with the blade or if the A Note is being played. Takes around 3 post by Ace to shatter them by music and 3 straight post to shatter by hit. while

D Note: The Body, even if the blade does not touch the body will begin to bleed and show signs of damage.

G Note: Ear drums will began to deafen for 2 straight post.

Akuma no merodī (Devil's Melody)

By playing the blade in various ways and using the flat and sharps of music Ace can do weakening and/or Strength the defense of certain objects.

A Sharp: He can build barriers around buildings, Cars, etc. To withstand more damage. Allowing for those who hide or cannot/will not fight to be safe for a total of 4 straight post. Has the durability of a level 50 Kidō spell.

A Minor: By playing this note, Ace can weaken a barrier or tough defense by tangleing his reiatsu and/or his bankai's reiatsu within it and making it vulnerable for attack. For 4 straight posts. The weakness of the object varies on the person. Depending on the person or object. If normal then it would be severely damaged, if spiritual then it can range from scratches to slashes depends on how much of his reiatsu he put into it. 1/4th then they are weaken by that much and so forth, he cannot put of his energy into weakening a defense.

D Sharp: By playing this note on an ally Ace can cause the person to be surrounded by a musical shield that deflects energy attacks and lessen damage to a person for 3 straight post. i.e. Ace is on tier 1 in Kidō, his shield will deflect kidō or bakudou or Hadou with the power of 1-30 anything higher will break through.

D Minor: By playing this note Ace can cause him and anyone in a 1 mi. radius (All Sides and Ways) of him into a musical barrier that increase damage to a person for 3 straight post. It is done the same way as A Minor is done.

G Sharp: Playing a song in G Sharp allows Ace to cover up a person sounds they make through out the world. Playing this on a bird will change the sound that the bird emits to that of another animal within the same frequency of the target. From Girl to Boy Walking sounds to Running. Basically, this is a diversion attack. This last for 2 post and effects everyone's hearing within 3900 ft, step out of range and nothing changes.

G Minor: Playing in G Minor amplifies the sounds around everyone, making it harder to hide things, think of putting them on a intercom. Everyone is subjected to sounding loud. Has a range of 3900 ft the closer to Ace you are the louder you sound and the further away you are the more you sound normal.

Strengths

Deadly Notes: The strength lies in the fact that the blade does not have to cut the person or object to damage it. As long as Ace can play the strings on his guitar/blade he can do damage to that object or person.

Ace's blade is like a Guitar in more than just looks and strings. It is like one by sound. By playing the guitar of his having certain notes as the major start point A,E,D,G he can cause different things to happen.

Akuma no merodi: Devil's Melody is the protection part of his Bankai, even though the name states some evil behind the motives there really are not any. He is using music to boost characteristics of the objects and weakens them by using his on Reiatsu to intrude on the objects reiatsu or lack there of if normal.

Weaknesses

Note Play, Ace can only activate one note at a time. If he begins playing the blade with A# then only that note will be in effect. Even if his fingers hit the other strings, that very first note will be in affect. After playing that first note, if Ace wants to use another ability he must wait and give his reiatsu time to recover and his Bankai's reiatsu time to recover. 4 post for his own reiatsu and 4 post for the Bankai's reiatsu, which happens after Ace's post, making it a post count of 8.

One of the draw backs is the reiatsu usage it has. In order for Ace to place a barrier around someone/thing smaller than 5'0 to 6 ft in height he must place in 2/4th of his reiatsu, which would take him 2 post to recover and 3 post for the bankai' to regain a total of 5 post.

Wood: 1/4 of his reiatsu 1 post to recover 2 post for Bankai making it 3 ost of recovery
Metal: 4/4 aka all or near all of his reiatsu taking him 4 (7 including the targets post) post to recover, 4 post to recover his bankai's total of 14 post
Stone (Rocks): 3/4 of his reiatsu 3 post to recover 4 post for Bankai making it 7 ost of recovery
Glass &etc.:3/4 of his reiatsu 3 post to recover 4 post for Bankai making it 7 ost of recovery
Fabrics: 1/4 of his reiatsu 1 post to recover 2 post for Bankai making it 3 ost of recovery

Height reiatsu Requirements:
5' to 6': 2/4 his reiatsu
6'1" to 6'11": 3/4 his reiatsu
6'12" and up all his reiatsu

The material is only for when he protects someone with a barrier or weakens a person.

Deadly Notes: Even though Ace is the one using the blade and is in-control of the spirit of the blade, he still takes some of the damage from hearing the music itself. Each note has a set number of post that it needs to work completely but the cool down itself is 3 post of Ace's after each use.

D Note: Hearing this causes little gashes to appear on his body from the sound when he plays the note, this only happens when his blade is in close contact with the others body area

G Note: Once this note is even played be it in a clash of the blades or the just played Ace loses his hearing and has to rely on the vibrations his blade can pick up.

Akuma no merodi: This ability is Reiatsu based and Kidō based. Meaning it takes Reiatsu and for every post the object takes or last it will take Ace that same number of post to regain his missing Reiatsu. Which would actually be the number of his post and not just he post, they post, he post. But Ace, Ace, Ace. Also since the Attacks are Kidō based and Ace does not have any Kidō then all these attacks are going to be weaker by half their strength.
