Personality
Arashi is an Enigma. He is the guy who could be very chill and laid back, not letting anyone or anything really breaking his stride, to live life. But then on the other hand he is very protective when it comes to his friends and his family name, even though he does not know his family. Arashi is will to still fight for it. What can you expect it is his family name. When he is not fighting for his family name, he is protecting his friends. On his fun time which is actually most of his time. He is having fun, partying. But when it is time for school, he is there learning and studying, until 9 at night.
When it comes to having fun, Arashi, knows how, somewhat. The things he likes to do are drinking, partying, school work or just plain hanging out with people. Those are his fun things. He hates fighting without a cause, listening to problems that would most likely kill his buzz I.e friend trouble over pointless things, pointless bullying of any type on his part, thugs or anything that could seem like trouble. If it involves his friends life or his family name then he is all about the talk. Arashi is not a fan of the things that go bump in the night. They don‘t scar him, but creep him out, but his number one hate are judgmental people
The young man, can’t stand being around them. He claims they push his buttons and he hates being in sour moods. Most times when he gets into fights, he tries to avoid them any way possible. Even when it involves his own family name. That is how most, if not all considers him to be a mystery an enigma. Because he rarely talks about his on life.
Even though the boy rarely talks about himself, he does fear, things. The main one that he keeps hidden is losing those he consider close to him, but with grave fears, comes a bright hope, Arashi dreams of being an inspiration to those he wish to protect. So, as long as he can inspire to be that he won’t let anyone break his spirit with anything.
Also Arashi is clinically depressed, The young man has been on anitdepressants since his car wreck. Though now he prefers to use street drugs, like Marijuana along with other drugs that he buys off the street i.e. Prozac, Lithium, OxyCotin (Oxycodone), Vicodine(Hydrocodone)and Saké to help ease his pain from his operations.
History
Taizen Arashi was born in 1993 in the city of lights and fashion of Japan, Kōbe. His father was a highly publicized medical surgeon and his mother was a former chef. His parents tried most of their lives to have a kid and when that they finally came, it was the happiest day of their lives that their God had blessed them with a little one of their own. When he was finally born they could not have been any happier until the doctor went to smack him and a little shield formed around the boy. They did not mind his 'defect', in fact they encouraged him to use his abilities. Thing is Arashi, was ashamed of the shield of his, so he never did what his parents encouraged. He pushed it as far back as he could.
Fast forward to when Arashi is 8 years old. It is the summer and school let out for break the kid was happy, his family was finally going to take him to the city he has been wanting to see for so long, Tokyo.
The family was going to take the longer route to Tokyo, that route was going through Obuna, the city of many roads. The family trip was going the country road should the young boy everything he wanted to see. The horses and the trees was a treat for the kid. He enjoyed the scenery. About 10 miles away from the city of Obuna something went wrong. As the family drove down the road a 18 wheeler seemed to go out of control for no reason. Arashi pointed out a few ghostly figures as the truck came their way.
The problem he did not say anything to his parents, he thought he was seeing things. The truck itself began to flip as his father swerved the vehicle, but the effort was to late. The vehicles crashed. Arashi and his parents were thrown around in their car before the young boy was tossed out. As the boy flew out of the car his shield once more activated covering only the boys vital organs. His little body was mangled, but he was alive. It was hours until the ambulance came to his rescue. Seeing the boys medical bracelet with his name on it and stating the word ‘protection’ they took him on to the hospital.
Knowing who the boy was and who his father was, the doctors used his fathers medical discoveries to save his life. The boys Pain Receptors were shot he could no longer feels pain to a point (Explained in the Strength and Weakness). Above that they grafted most of his bones, the ones that were destroyed or badly with a light weight low-grade titanium foam alloy so he could once more walk and function like a normal person.
The surgery took days and went well, and Arashi slept for weeks, coma, before he woke in the hospital. He did not know who he was and where he came from. Upon his machine giving signs that he was awake the doctors all came in to see, calling the boys name and seeing no reaction to it. They finally found out later that the boy had lost his memories involving everything that had happened in the past 8 years.
After awhile he began to answer to his name. When he was released from the hospital Arashi was sent to a Orphanage. He was not there long before a foster family took him in. It was nice, but Arashi was not feeling it so after a few months there he ran away. Once more going back to the Orphanage.
Fast forward to 13, Arashi had by this time he had settled with a family, that he had actually began to love. He had gave up on running away after his 15th attempt. This family raised him to follow his on path, which is how he became so mysterious. He never spoke of his life to anyone who was not a friend. He never used his shield. He couldn’t he did not remember anything from his childhood, outside of the orphanage. As he began to go through puberty Arashi began to do drugs and drink, he was not the bad seed really, he was still doing good in school. He just did not really care, he kept his cool about everything, even friends.
Arashi hated that he was different, not because of what his body was now, but because due to him being so small and weighing so little doctors could not give him strong enough medication, to fight the pain and the thoughts that lived in his head. Not wanting to be any more different than he had to be, he began to use marijuana to help curb some of the pain.
When that was not truly doing the job he hoped, he progressed to stronger and more deadlier drugs.
After that his early teenage years seemed to go by with ease, he had found some true friends, who liked him for him and nothing else. He even began to stand up for those said friends. It seemed that after he had got to this family that everything seemed nice and he was willing to protect it.
Fast Forward, Arashi is now 19 and he lives his life in dual parts. One half he is a major drug addict, that only seems to hang with people when he is sitting on cloud nine. His other half of hs life he is a book worm. His family and friends know that he is sad and depressed, but what they don't know won't kill them. So when ever he is home or school he self medicates with the prescribed drugs, taking double sometimes triple of what he is supposed to, just so he can make it through the day without wanting to pass out from pain. While he is in school and the pain does start to emerge again, he buries his head in the books. Figuring that studying through the pain would help him a bit until he canget to his pills or herbs.
Though nowadays he stays to himself, outside of his friends and family. Rarely going outside unless he is drugged up and if he walks out with his drugs he tries not to show them off, so he won't get into fights.
Combat
Strengths
Pain Receptors: Arashi's receptors for pain are basiclly shot. He can no longer feel pain in certain areas of his body, around the places he had his bones reconstructed. But he does not consider this a down fall on his part. He knows what should hurt him and what should not hurt. His other sensory areas—touch, heat, vibration, and the ability to perceive movement—are all still normal.
Titanium Foam covered Bones: His main physical strength are his bones, allowing him to do more damage with every punch and kick he does, than that of a normal person.
Calmness/High Effect: Unlike most people Arashi is always baked or drunk and it keeps him calm and cool. Sometimes goofy.
Personality: Even though he is a mystery with everyone else, Most of the time people trust him enough to open up or ask him for help. He likes to give credit to his looks.
Weaknesses
Pain Receptors: Since he cannot feel much pain, his body rarely gives him warning of when enough is enough. Sometimes doing more damage to himself than his enemies. He receives Pain in the following area;base of his neck to about right below his shoulder blades, his right arm tends to hurt, his left leg by his pelvic bone still has feeling up to his lower back. Basically anywhere metal was placed he can still feel pain around those areas, when the weather is bad or his bones are stretched.
Titanium Foam Covered Bones: Even though his bones gives him a stronger punch or kick, there are negative sides to his operations. Due to the metal lining certain bones, Arashi weighs heavier than most his age and height, but not by much. Also the young man, must go to doctors every year just to have his bones stretched and during bad weather after having the bone stretching process done he is constantly in pain in areas where his nerves work, weeks after and during bad weather.
High Effect: Being high all the time, sometimes mess with his vision and he reacts to things on a much calmer and slower pace. The drugs he medicates himself with are the reason for this and he likes it.
Personality: Though others trust him, he tends to try and keep most non-family and friends at bay. To avoid those tricky situations. Never trusting those who could have his back. Though this trait of his personality could be from the drugs he is taking, like the prozac, which sometimes make the boy consider suicide or convinces the boy not to trust this person and that.
