Aguamala is Ortiga Azoul's resurrección.
When sealed, Ortiga's weapon resembles a simple katana. There is nothing peculiar about the blade itself, only that there is no guard and the hilt and sheath are made from the same polished mahogany. When unsheathed, Aguamala resembles a polished quarterstaff.

Resurrección

Release Command: Envenenar, Aguamala (Poison, Aguamala)

Aguamala (Chibi)

The reformation of his helmet does not include any eyeholes. The wrapping plates around his torso and upper arms are only semi-rigid, protecting from impact only slightly. The collar plate around his neck is harder. The tentacles that his legs become can extend to 10 feet long, and are strong enough to crush bones if their slow curling manages to ensnare something.

Resurrección Abilities

Zarcillo

The tendrils that come out of the plate over his lower arms can extend 50 metres, either in one mass of tendrils as a column, or into four columns. The tendrils produce poisons and toxins that cause numbness and stinging if only a small amount lands and soaks into the sting, and if enough is absorbed, can cause paralysis and anaphylaptic shock. However, so much would need to be absorbed, that the victim would be soaked from head to toe, and more or less dead. The tendrils can coil and grip like a thousand hands, or can be whipped about. When whipped they can cause cutting damage.

Tóxicos Ninos

In addition, Ortiga can cough up small bell-shaped organisms, their circumference circled by teeth and a few small tendrils sticking from the bottom. These polyps can latch onto flesh, providing healing to whatever they make skin contact with. A single polyp can increase the healing rate of a person so that wounds that would take days to heal take hours, or even minutes. Poisons are more or less nullified instantly as the beneficial toxins enter the bloodstream. Coupled with the healing factor, the person the polyp is in contact with is also given a constant stream of adrenaline, heightening their senses and allowing them to keep fighting despite pain. There is a drawback however, as the polyps are connected, they drain reiatsu, a slow trickle at first but as they sink their teeth deeper into the flesh and increase their healing rate, more reiatsu is absorbed. About three-quarters of this energy is channelled back into Ortiga, their father.

Being a creature of poisons and toxins, both beneficial and negative, Ortiga is immune to any kind of toxin or medicine. He cannot be healed, poisoned or harmed by liquids and gases engineered to do so, in addition, reiatsu healing has a lesser effect on him than normal.

Strengths

Range: unlike the tendrils of his Hollow form, Ortiga's Aguamala has a much greater range, allowing him to inflict his poisons upon enemies much further away, he must be able to see them though, and that's not to say the tendrils cannot be chopped off.
Healing: His polyps have the ability to heal pretty much any wound, even regenerate lost limbs, this is good for allies, though the cost of some reiatsu is only really worth it when serious injuries are being treated. For Ortiga, the polyps give him a steady supply of reiatsu with which he can make ceros and keep himself going.

Weaknesses

Defenceless: Though his tendrils have an incredible range, they are not armoured in any way, meaning a simple sword slice or burst of kidō could damage or destroy them. That isn't to say when one load has gone more won't follow, but it's quite easy to avoid the poison.
Healing: Due to Ortiga's immunity to poisons and medicines, he cannot heal himself using his polyps, in addition, he must cough the things up to summon them, which leaves him exposed and weak for a second whilst he forces the polyp from his gut and up out of his mouth.
Movement: At base speed, the tentacles that replace Ortiga's legs are quite slow, Sonido can help increase this speed but the tentacles slow everything down.

Aguijón

Aguijón is Ortiga's segunda etapa.
Release Command: Engullir, Aguijón (Engulf, Aguijón )
Unlike his resurrecíon form, Aguijón presents a far more humanoid body for Ortiga. His mask remnants disappear from the sides of his face, replaced by three blue triangular markings where the teeth would have been. Despite these changes, Ortiga's face remains largely unchanged. It is his body that undergoes the greatest transformation.

His torso, exposed, turns a deep hue of blue, and looks almost transparent, his organs and small jellyfish-like organisms floating about in a cavity that lacks a skeleton. Upon the arrancar's shoulders sit two bony growths, coiling around and ending in a spine, they look not unlike oversized and grotesque conch shells. These two growths run from his shoulders and down in a V shape along his back, meeting at the point where his tail bone would be. The surface of the back-piece of this growth is marked by four fist-sized holes along each length.

Ortiga's arms, also blue and transparent, give way to coiling red tendrils which are so tight and sculpted that they resemble exposed muscle, though this quickly ends as you move past his 'elbow', with the arms end with thousands of long and thin tendrils. The ends of these tendrils are capped by small spiralling shells that end with a deadly point, not dissimilar to his shoulder growths.

As for Ortiga's legs, they are much like his arms, but rather than ending with splayed tendrils, they are fully sculpted to mimic legs. The spiral shells here and in various points along his leg, sticking out rather like barnacles, there are only five 'toes' which end in these shells on each foot.

Out of the eight holes along the armour upon his back come huge tentacles, as thick as a man's arm and several metres long. They each end with a huge, swordlike blade formed from the same shell-like substance that makes up the growths upon Ortiga's shoulders and caps the ends of his tendrils. The blades rather resembles an oversized falchion, rather than a katana, and where their guard would usually be, the shell coils around the end of the tentacle, eventually melding with it to end.

Despite the growths and tentacles, Ortiga still wears his white coat, which sits open, torn at the base and at the shoulders with the shoulder growths thrusting out and over. The sleeves hide most of his transformed arms to end in a myriad of small tendril ends.

Segunda Etapa Abilities

As has always been the case, Ortiga's released form secretes a paralysing toxin from every pore of his body, but the effects in this manifestation are far more advanced and devastating before. Aguijón's poison can make a limb become fixed in position within a matter of seconds from contact with a few mililetres of the substance, a large splash of the stuff can cause rapid spasms before up to half of the body becomes paralysed. Staying in contact with the paralysing toxin for prolonged periods can make the effects permanent.

Where Aguijón differs from Ortiga's previous forms is the other substances added to his body chemistry. Ortiga's blood is replaced with a thin green-blue coloured liquid, which courses throughout his body and is constantly reproduced by his heart. He can never run out of it. This liquid is a potent acid, capable of corroding most materials. For soft objects such as wood, clothing and skin, the acid will eat away the surface matter within twenty seconds, for tougher articles, such as metal and stone, the corrosion takes considerably longer. The surfaces of all of Ortiga's bony growths in this form have small pore-like holes along select surfaces, which dribble with the corrosive acid. Ortiga can not control the rate of the acid's production, but he is immune to its effects.

Being a creature of poisons and toxins, both beneficial and negative, Ortiga is immune to any kind of toxin or medicine. He cannot be healed, poisoned or harmed by liquids and gases engineered to do so, in addition, reiatsu healing has a lesser effect on him than normal.

Strengths

Paralysis - Ortiga is practically immune to hand to hand combat, or at least, should his opponent manage to land a blow on him, they would soon lose their arm to the toxin. Other melee styles also prove a high risk to his opponents, as whilst they might not directly touch Ortiga, they could be caught by a drip or a spray of the toxin unintentionally.

Resistance - Ortiga is immune to all forms of chemical intoxication, be it medicine or poison. This of course renders him immune to his own abilities, but also goes so far as to affecting that of others, too. And with Ortiga's hierro, his tendrils have become a whole lot more resistant to attack. Gone are the days when they could be sliced with all the resistance of butter to a hot knife. And of course, should they be pierced, the inevitably spray of constantly pumping acid would be a most unfortunate end for his would-be killer.

Many Angles - Each of Ortiga's weapons are tipped with corrosive poison, the eight blades, the many thousands of spiral-tipped tendrils, even the spiky shoulder growths that protect his neck. He has a very capable arsenal at his disposal.

Weaknesses

Exposed - Toughened skin and immunity to poisons may be useful, but all of these can be broken with the right amount of force. Even a master of hand to hand combat would be able to deal significant damage to Ortiga, even if they do lose the use of their arm for a short while after. Varied forms of attack can deal a lot of damage, and the only parts of Ortiga's body that are truly immune to damage are those covered by the shell-like growths, namely his back, shoulders and the ends of his tendrils and tentacles.

Danger to Himself - Ortiga might be immune to his own abilities, but his acidic blood can be deadly even to himself. If he is stood upon a surface, and a tendril has been cut, the acid would inevitably flow out of the wound and corrode the surface, losing him a place to stand.

Concentration - Aguamala had thousands of tendrils, Aguijón has more, and eight tentacles to boot. Where Ortiga could once make sweeping movements with a hundred tendrils at a time, like a broad brush, now he must focus on each individual strand and its acidic tip. He has the will to do all this, but to control several parts of his body at the same time (and there are a lot of parts) is difficult. As such, he is forced to rely on instinct to protect himself, and must take time to carefully pick out the best tool for the job.
