Location and Compound
The tenth division headquarters is the Central Spirit Academy of Soul Society, through it passes all shinigami trainees, and under the watchful eyes of the tenth division's officers, they are tutored in the arts of the gotei 13. The area surrounding the academy is spaced out, filled with training grounds dedicated to various forms of combat, all to get Seireitei's future ready to fulfil their duty.
Duties
This division's primary focus is the instruction of Academy Students in the arts of war. As such they need a strong, commanding charisma and battlefield experience. Recruitment and purification also plays a part in their job, acting as examiners for prospective Shinigami, and purifiers of Plus spirits in war zones and other overlooked areas.
Shinigami Academy
This is where all the potential shinigami come to learn the basics of becoming a shinigami, and are given their Asauchi; staffed by the 6th to 10th Seats and several squads of shinigami, knowledge is diligently imparted to the students. It takes six years for the average student to graduate.
